The Ladies Book Club meets once a month, generally on a Thursday evening at 7.30pm at the home of one of the ladies. Catechism Classes
Catechism classes are available for children and youth to receive instruction in the Christian faith and are held on Tuesday evenings at the church. This generally commences in the year the children turn 13 and continues until they have completed the Senior Catechism class. Public Profession of Faith may take place at the end of this instruction process or during it. There is also a new believers class for new adult believers. Sunday School
Sunday School is a time of worship, learning and fun for children 3-4 years old, pre-schoolers and Years 1 and 2. Together with teachers and helpers the children participate in prayer and singing to the Lord, contribute to an offering, and learn from the many Bible stories and activities. The children attend the morning service for a short time and then leave for Sunday School. Youth Group
Youth Group meets once a month generally at the Church but also at other locations for a time of fun and fellowship. Bible study, games and activities are part of the program.

Reformation Day – Meaning and Importance
Reformation Day is celebrated on October 31st every year. It commemorates the day in 1517 when Martin Luther, a German monk and theologian, nailed his “95 Theses” to the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany. This act marked the beginning of the Protestant Reformation, a major spiritual movement that transformed Christianity and the Church.
---
Purpose of the Reformation
Martin Luther’s main goal was not to divide the Church, but to reform it — to bring it back to the truth of the Bible. He challenged false teachings such as:
The selling of indulgences (forgiveness for money)
The belief that salvation could be earned by works
Luther boldly taught that:
“The righteous shall live by faith.” – Romans 1:17
This truth — Salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone — became the foundation of the Reformation.
---
Key Principles of the Reformation (The Five Solas)
1. Sola Scriptura – Scripture alone is the highest authority.
2. Sola Fide – Faith alone justifies us before God.
3. Sola Gratia – Salvation comes by grace alone.
4. Solus Christus – Christ alone is our mediator and Savior.
5. Soli Deo Gloria – Glory to God alone.
---
Why Reformation Day Matters Today
Reformation Day reminds us to:
Stay faithful to the Word of God.
Keep Christ at the center of our faith.
Live a life of spiritual renewal, repentance, and truth.
Be thankful for the courage of reformers who stood for the Gospel.
---
Bible Verse for Reflection
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.”
– Romans 12:2
