Assalamu alykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

As we enter this blessed month of Ramadan, we ask Allah to fill it with faith, peace, and sincere worship. Grant us the strength to pray, fast, and recite the Holy Qur’an.

Please note that ‘Isha prayer will begin at 9:20 PM tonight, and Taraweeh will start immediately after the Sunnah prayer.

Daily Iftar

Insha’Allah, Iftar will be served every day throughout Ramadan starting tomorrow.
Tomorrow’s Maghrib prayer will be at 7:45 PM.

We look forward to welcoming you and your family to the Centre during this blessed month.

May Allah accept our عبادات, forgive us, make us among those He saves from the Hellfire, and grant us entry into Jannah. Ameen.

We were recently honoured by the visit of Sheikh Abdirahman Magan from Melbourne. During his stay, the Sheikh spoke about tribalism, its impact on our communities, and how Islam came to guide and correct the misuse of tribal identity. He reflected on the teachings of the Qur’an, including Surah Al-Hujurat, verse 13:

“O humanity! Indeed, We created you from a male and a female, and made you into peoples and tribes so that you may get to know one another. Surely the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous among you. Allah is truly All-Knowing, All-Aware.”

Our local Sheiks, Sh Ahmed and Sh Waheliye, also joined in the discussion, offering valuable insights and reminders that deepend the reflection on this important topic.

The following weekend, Sheikh Abdirahman led a dawrah on the book Al-Qawa’id Al-Fiqhiyyah (Maxims of Fiqh) by Sheikh Abdur-Rahman bin Nasir As-Sa’di. Attendees benefited from studying the twelve maxims, asking questions, and reflecting on their practical applications in daily life.

We sincerely thank Sheikh Abdirahman Magan for his time and dedication, and we also extend our gratitude to Sheikh Ahmed and Sheikh Waheliye for their participation. We hope everyone who attended gained beneficial knowledge from these sessions.
