St Mary of the Cross Parish, is the merged parishes of St Brigid's, Mordialloc and St Louis de Montfort, Aspendale. St Brigid's church is located at 518 Main Street, Mordialloc. “Mission, as a radiation of the love of the heart of Christ, requires missionaries who are themselves in love and who, enthralled by Christ, feel bound to share this love that has changed their lives. They are impatient when time is wasted discussing secondary questions or concentrating on truths and rules, because their greatest concern is to share what they have experienced. They want others to perceive the goodness and beauty of the Beloved through their efforts, however inadequate they may be. Is that not the case with any lover?” ( #209).

Laudato Si’ Week is a global celebration in which we remember Pope Francis’ call in his encyclical Laudato Si’ to hear both the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor, and to humbly place ourselves in communion with our common home. As a Catholic Earthcare Parish, we celebrate our part in the great progress the whole Church is making on its journey towards the seven Laudato Si’ Goals set before us by Pope Francis, as we strive for ecological conversion.

We shared the gifts both visible and invisible of the sacrament and had fun and laughter together.
