"I, Peter, am an apostle on assignment by Jesus, the Messiah, writing to exiles, immigrants scattered to the four winds. Not one is missing, not one forgotten. God the Father has his eye on each of you, and has determined by the work of the Spirit to keep you obedient through the sacrifice of Jesus. May everything good from God be yours!"

Every person we meet is someone God deeply loves.

It's easy to divide the world into sides. To see labels before people. Arguments before hearts. Differences before humanity. But Jesus consistently looked beyond categories and saw something deeper. A person loved by God. A person carrying burdens. A person worthy of compassion. The Gospel was never about winning arguments or conquering opponents. It was always about reconciliation, mercy, and love. πŸ’•
Imagine how different our families, communities, and world might look if we spent less time trying to defeat one another and more time trying to understand one another. May we reflect the heart of Christ by choosing humility over pride, grace over judgment, and love over division. Because every person we meet is someone God deeply loves.

What has God been calling you to do that you haven't done as yet?

β€œ For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Ephesians 2:10

You are free to forgive and to feel safe

You are free to forgive
and to feel safe

Some wounds leave lasting marks. Forgiveness does not mean pretending the pain never happened. It means releasing the burden of bitterness into God's hands while allowing His wisdom to guide your next steps. Sometimes love looks like extending grace. Sometimes wisdom looks like establishing healthy boundaries. Both can be acts of faith. 🀍

If you're walking through a difficult season, may you find peace in knowing that God can heal what others have broken and give you the wisdom to move forward with both compassion and courage. If you'd like a deeper daily encouragement, our *In the Presence of Jesus* devotional and free weekly devotional are available through the link in our bio.

β€œMay we never miss an opportunity to love someone the way that Christ has loved us.”

β€œMay we never miss an opportunity to love someone the way that Christ has loved us.”

One of the most radical things Jesus taught was that every person has value. Not because of what they own. Not because of their status. Not because of what they can offer in return. But because they are loved by God. It's easy to show kindness to people we understand, agree with, or relate to. The real challenge is learning to see the image of God in every person we encounter... especially those the world overlooks.

The Gospel invites us to move beyond labels, assumptions, and judgments and into a life marked by compassion, mercy, and love. May we never become so distracted by differences that we forget our shared humanity. And may we never miss an opportunity to love someone the way Christ has loved us. If you'd like more encouragement like this throughout the week, we'd love for you to join our free weekly devotional and explore our free worship playlists designed to help you slow down, spend time with God, and grow deeper in your faith. The world can feel noisy, rushed, and uncertain. Yet one of the greatest gifts of faith is knowing we never walk through it alone. Jesus did not promise a life free from challenges, but He did promise His presence. And often, that presence becomes the peace we were searching for all along. πŸ’œ
When the path feels unclear, slow down and remember: God is still near. God is still working. God is still faithful. Even in seasons when you cannot see the whole road ahead.
