Ashfield Baptist Church We are a sharing Christian community living out Jesusโ€™s vision for a loving and just society.

We are people from many countries and walks of life that meet together to worship God, fellowship with each other, learn about God and help each other grow. We are the part of God's family in Ashfield, NSW that meets on Sundays at Ashfield Baptist Church and through the week in small groups and other activities. The Bible is our basis for teaching and Jesus is our model for how we live out our lives.

Drawing on the theme of what it means to place Jesus at the centre of our faith, Tim will explore how a Christ-centred life shapes the way we read Scripture, live in community, pursue reconciliation, and join in Godโ€™s Kingdom work today.

Whether you are from our church, another congregation, or simply curious to grow deeper in following Jesus, this promises to be a thoughtful and inspiring gathering!

Lunch and a second session with Q&A in the hall will follow the service.

Join us on Saturday 9 May 2026, 10:00am โ€“ 2:00pm, Ashfield Baptist Church โ€“ carpark, for a morning of handmade crafts from local makers, delicious homemade food, including some amazing Nepali dishes brought to you by Da Vatti Ashfield!

This year our market will be fundraising to support the Baptist Mission Australia Hobart Nepali Mission Partnership, helping respond to the needs of a growing Nepali community through practical care and connection. Through initiatives like community transport, mentoring and local outreach, this project shares hope and love in tangible waysโ€”this is what love looks like in action.
