Here is a fun 'Activity Challenge' you can do with your kids at home this Sunday. We would love to see your creations - send them through and we can all share in the fun!!!

This week we are looking at Jesus calming the storm! It's such a great story. It reminds us that Jesus is really in control, and because of that we can trust him, even when we are afraid.

Read Mark 4:35-41 to your children or the same story from a Kids Bible.

Watch the video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uYLHqdSO9OY

Chat about these questions:
- What are Jesus disciples afraid of?
- How does Jesus show he is in control?
- What scares you?
- How does knowing Jesus is so powerful help me when I feel afraid?

Activity Challenge
Your challenge is to recreate the scene of Jesus calming the storm (Mark 4:35-41). Maybe you could draw a picture, build a boat out of lego or play doh, or even act it out.

Ask a big person to take a photo or video and post it to our page so we can all see it!

This story is based on Mark 4:35-41, Luke 8:22-25, and Matthew 8:23-27

This Sunday, (12th July), we are going to recommence face-to-face services at the Cathedral at normal service times: 7:30am, 9:30am & 6pm. (Branch services are still suspended for the time being).

There are some regulations that we need to adhere to in order to meet together:
*current maximum 76 persons in Cathedral, 68 persons in Parish Centre. (at 9:30am, parents with kids are encouraged to sit in the Parish Centre to make the most use of space)
*Currently there will be no Lord's Supper or communal morning tea/supper.
*Currently there will be no singing or chanting.
*Sign-in is required for every attendee, for contact tracing purposes (so please arrive early).

BUT even under these restrictions... we WILL be able to meet together in person, and encourage one another in the Lord, as we hear God's word and respond together!

We are looking forward to seeing you in person.
