This weekend we celebrate the Solemnity of Corpus Christi, giving thanks for the great gift of the Holy Eucharist. We also congratulate the children receiving their First Holy Communion this Sunday and assure them of our prayers on this special day.

🙏 Lord Jesus, Bread of Life, nourish us with Your love and help us to live as faithful disciples each day. Amen.

Country Fete cancellation update:

We’re very sorry to let you know that this Sunday’s fete has been cancelled. The grounds are too wet to safely hold the event, and with the continuing rain, we’ve had no choice but to call it off.

There won’t be another date this year, but we are grateful for everyone’s enthusiasm and support.

Reach for one quiet moment of gratitude.

Pause sometime tonight—over a cup of tea, or before bed—and name one blessing God has placed in your life this week. Then thank Him for it out loud. Gratitude softens the heart and opens space for grace.

Lord,
Slow me down so I can notice Your goodness today.

Give me a grateful heart, attentive to the small blessings You place along my path.

Let thankfulness shape my words, my choices, and my relationships.

May Your peace rest gently on my home and my parish community. Amen. 🙏🏻

Today we celebrate the moment the Holy Spirit filled the disciples with courage, unity, and new life.

May that same Spirit breathe peace into our homes, strengthen our families, and renew our parish community.
