It's Finke Long Weekend. We know many will be using this as a great time to go camping and enjoying God's creation.

For those who are around this Sunday, we would love to worship with you at ASBC.

At 9:30am, Gavin will be continuing our journey through Thessalonians. Exploring the idea of growing quietly as we explore Paul's words in chapter 4:1-12.

There is no Kids Church, but we will have the Parents Lounge available and Kids Activity packs. We also love having young people worshipping with us!

At 5 PM we have a service where Gavin will be continuing our Armour of God series by looking at the Shoes of the Gospel.

You are welcome to join us this Sunday!

We know it's mother's day and we have some young people going to be making some scones for us to celebrate at our AM service this week.

Iain will also be finishing our series on Desert Pain as we look at Nadab and Abihu, Aaron's sons and see what we learn from their story as God seeks to refine us.

In our PM service, Naomi will be sharing on the Judge - Deborah. Join us as we continue to explore the book of judges and the truths that we can learn and grow from this book.

As we head into Term 2 we have some great new series starting!

9:30 AM Service
This week Gavin is launching a new series called Desert Pain, looking at the lessons the Israelites learned in the Desert as God sought to refine them away from their time in slavery to being free in who God had created them to be.

9:30 AM Kids Church
This term we are starting off with a series on Wisdom! This week we are exploring how wisdom is worth searching for. With some fun games, worship and small groups we would love to see your young people there!

5 PM - Disciple Training
This week we pick up the series on Judges that Gavin started last week by looking at the story of Gideon. As we seek to Hear and Respond to God in community, we will be looking at what we learn from Gideon's example, and perhaps what needs to be avoided.

Next week is Easter Weekend, we would love to have you join us as we remember and celebrate God's beautiful gift that was given to us through Jesus.

| Thursday |
This short (30 minutes) reflective service is an opportunity to pause ahead of the events of Easter. At this service we hear, remember and reflect on the trials that Jesus faced on His way to the cross on Friday.

We will also be sharing communion with each other.

| Friday |
Join us for a 1 hour service as we explore Mark's account of the crucifixion, and we reflect on Jesus' sacrifice that brings us life. After the service, stay for some Hot Cross Buns and fellowship.

On Sunday we celebrate Resurrection Sunday! Today is a celebration as we rejoice that the tomb is empty and Jesus is risen! Join us as we celebrate and rejoice together. All are welcome to join us.

The church youth groups across Alice Springs have joined together under the banner of Scripture Union to run a united Outback Youth Camp at Ross River on April 9-11.

REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW OPEN - so if you are, or know a young person in Year 7-12 who should be at this camp, be sure to secure your spot today!

This Sunday we are continuing our journey through Mark's Gospel as we prepare for Easter. This Sunday Gavin will be unpacking and sharing on Jesus' arrest and the way He was treated.

| 5 PM |
In the evening, Iain will be concluding our series on Noise: Turn Down the Distractions. In this series we have seen how to respond to the volume of the world, the static that surrounds us, the interference we encounter with others. This week Iain will be unpacking the Distortion that sometimes can garble the message we are trying to hear.

Neighbours Every Day is a great campaign run by Relationship Australia. This is a great opportunity for us to be on mission in our local communities and helping welcome people into community.

There are many ways we can worship God. This Easter, we’re inviting those who enjoy expressing faith through creativity to reflect on the story of Easter and create an artwork to be shared in an exhibition over Easter weekend. You might draw, paint, write a poem, sculpt, or fashion something meaningful.

These pieces become both an act of worship and an invitation - helping others see something fresh in the Easter story as we remember God’s great love shown to us in Christ.

Artworks will need to be submitted by Sunday 29 March to allow time for display preparation. For more details, please contact Claudia Heckathorn or fill in a connect form.
