🙌 John MacArthur is now with the Lord.

💒 As a church we rejoice that this stalwart soldier has been promoted to glory.

💙 We offer our thanks to God for MacArthur’s ministry, steadfastness, and example. On many occasions, we have listened to his preaching, read his books, discussed his Bible studies, and consulted his commentaries.

🙏🏻 We pray for Patricia and the family during this time.

💪 May God raise up men of MacArthur’s calibre who have a biblical backbone, a tenacity for truth, a boldness in the face of compromise, and purity in life and doctrine.

🫶 A spectacular weekend of fellowship, Bible teaching, and worship.

🙌 It was a great privilege to have Lincoln and Jo Forlong with us from Focus Bible Church in New Zealand. The theme for our conference was “Friendships for Christ.” The messages were biblically-saturated, fiercely practical, and clearly communicated.

💒 Our church has been deeply enriched by this past weekend, and for this, we give all glory to God!

🙌 What an incredibly rich blessing to be able to attend the Bible Fellowship Weekend at Mt Cathedral Community Baptist Church. The theme was “Content with the God who IS,” and the speaker was Pastor Lincoln Forlong of Focus Bible Church, New Zealand. 🇳🇿

📖 The 5 teaching sessions over 3 days covered the following topics: “God IS Eternally Holy, God IS Gloriously Good, God is Unchangeably Righteous and Just, God IS Incomparably Knowable,” and “Jesus IS the Believer’s Ultimate Advocate.” 🙏

🎯 Interspersed throughout the weekend were many games and activities including, volleyball, round-the-world table tennis, tunnel ball, card games, balloon competitions, pyramid-building, a trivia night, sword drills, and much more!! ♣️

🌯 The food shared was fantastic and supplied by local cafes, produce stores, take-away venues, and many of the people from the church. 🍱

🎶 The fellowship, singing, worship, discussions, Q&A times, and children’s talks were first rate, and Jesus was glorified. 👏

😊 A heartfelt thanks to all who attended, served, prepared food, games, activities, booklets, music, preaching, and much more. This past weekend was of everlasting significance and all the glory goes to God! ❤️💒🙌
