This Saturday night, we’re getting together for our Talent Show — a fun night with a bigger purpose.

We’ll be raising funds to help cover the costs of our upcoming mission trip to Coober Pedy, with plenty of entertainment as well as live and silent auctions throughout the evening.

Who could you be praying for or inviting to hear about Jesus?

Next week, some of our members will be joining Evangelical Students for The Mark Drama, bringing friends along to hear the story of Jesus.

Please pray for good conversations, for the friends coming along, and that as they hear Mark’s account, they would see clearly who Jesus is.

You don’t need to be ready for The Voice to take the stage at our Talent Show! Sing, dance, juggle, tell a story, do some magic—or bring along something simply good for a laugh. Send in your act and get involved!

And if performing isn’t your thing, come along and cheer on our talented bunch on 29 August at 7pm at Aldgate Memorial Hall. Tickets are $15 each or $40 per family, with funds helping cover our Coober Pedy mission trip in September.

Good kids and youth ministry takes more than enthusiasm—it takes thoughtful training for the people who serve.

Last Saturday, 8 of us joined the Trinity Network Kids and Youth Ministry Training Day. Chris J attended a session on “Gospel shaped discipline”, something he said he’d never encountered in all his years of ministry.

Training like this helps equip our leaders to care for children and young people with greater wisdom and clarity.
