Hills Baptist Church Hills Baptist Aldgate is a vibrant community of faith located in the beautiful Adelaide Hills.

Aldgate Baptist began in 1968 when a small group of people had a vision for a Baptist church in the Adelaide Hills. The group met for a time in people's living rooms and then in a public hall in Stirling. The church officially began as Aldgate Baptist in 1970, and the current church building was purchased in 1972. God has established and richly blessed Aldgate Baptist, growing it to be a vibrant c

ommunity of faith today. More recently we've sensed a new vision to church plant which led to Littlehampton Baptist being planted in 2015, which then moved to Verdun late 2018. Aldgate Baptist also changed its name to Hills Baptist in 2018, to represent better who we are. Hills Baptist Church is now a church of around 1,400 people, meeting across three services in two different campuses. We are people who have been brought together by God to grow in our love of the Lord Jesus and to share his love with the wider world. Hills Baptist Aldgate has a strong commitment to teaching God's Word, being open to his Spirit, sharing life in community, engaging and supporting mission locally and overseas, and to allowing our faith to shape our everyday lives.

Hills Baptist Aldgate (formerly Aldgate Baptist) began in 1968 when a small group of people had a vision for a Baptist church in the Adelaide Hills. The group met for a time in people's living rooms and then in a public hall in Stirling. God has established and richly blessed Hills Baptist Aldgate, growing it to be a vibrant community of faith today. More recently we've sensed a new vision to church plant which has led to the formation of Hills Baptist Verdun. Hills Baptist Aldgate is now a church of around 750 people, meeting across three services in two different locations. We are people who have been brought together by God to grow in our love of the Lord Jesus and to share his love with the wider world. Hills Baptist has a strong commitment to teaching God's Word, being open to his Spirit, sharing life in community, engaging and supporting mission locally and overseas, and to allowing our faith to shape our everyday lives.
