Dhammakaya Meditation Centre, Albury

Dhammakaya Meditation Centre, Albury The centre has an emphasis on delivering the knowledge of peace, the moral practice and meditation

Dhammakaya Meditation Centre in Albury was started in late 2010 when Phra Satit Thitadhammo travelled from Wat Phra Dhammakaya, Sydney to provide Sunday service at its first temporary premises in South Albury. It was the first time that Buddhist knowledge and practice become accessible to local community on a regular basis. In September 2013 the Service was moved to be held in Thagoona with the ge

nerous support by AISHA FLOW YOGA. In the meantime, the group was seeking for a permanent place to settle and finally found a suitable and peaceful site in East Albury. We are now having Sunday Services every Sunday 10.00-13.30

Another long weekend is here!
If you’re visiting our region, you’re warmly invited to stop by our Centre in Albury.
We’re open this Monday as well, so there’s still plenty of time to visit.

Wat Phra Dhammakaya Albury Supports UN Vesak Celebration in Sydney

We were honoured to take part in the Australian Observance of the United Nations Day of Vesak held on Saturday, 23 May 2026 at Minh Quang Monastery in Sydney. This special event brought together Buddhist communities in a spirit of peace, harmony, and shared unity and devotion

Our Abbot, Venerable Phra Satit, served as Secretary of the Organising Committee, and he travelled to Sydney with a dedicated team of volunteers from our temple to help support this meaningful national celebration.

We sincerely thank all supporters, volunteers, and well-wishers whose kindness, generosity, and service helped make the day peaceful and memorable. Your efforts reflect the spirit of Vesak and are deeply appreciated by our temple community.

Begin each morning with a grateful heart. Not everyone gets the chance to see another day, but we do.
