CANDLELIGHT VIGIL FOR NEPAL

Dear friends, family, and members of our community,

In this deeply difficult time, our hearts are with the people of Nepal and all those affected by the devastating floods.

The Albury Wodonga Nepalese Association (AWNA) warmly invites you to join us for a Candlelight Vigil to remember those who have lost their lives, stand beside the families who are grieving, and show our support for everyone affected by this tragedy.

Each candle we light will represent a life remembered, a family held in our thoughts, and a message of hope for those facing unimaginable loss.

Let us come together as one community — to remember, pray, support and stand in solidarity with Nepal.

🌧️ A small note about the weather

As the vigil is being held outdoors, please come prepared for possible rain and cooler weather. We encourage everyone to bring an umbrella, raincoat and warm clothing as needed.

We will continue to monitor the weather conditions. If the weather becomes unsuitable, we may move the vigil to an alternative nearby venue. Any change of venue will be communicated to the community as soon as possible, so please keep an eye on this page for updates.

Whatever the weather, the spirit of our gathering remains the same — to come together with compassion, remember those we have lost, and stand beside the people of Nepal during this difficult time.
