Flashback to Friday night's Intern Quiz Night Fundraiser! 🧠🎉

From tough trivia questions to plenty of laughs and a little healthy competition, it was a great night together.

Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the event. Your generosity helped raise funds for our upcoming mission trips to Thailand and the Philippines, and we're incredibly grateful for all who got involved.

This Father's Day, we celebrate and thank God for the fathers and father figures who reflect His love through their care, sacrifice and faithfulness.
Thank you to the dads who encourage, serve, lead and point others to Jesus each day.

Please join us in praying for the people of Nepal as they face the devastating impact of recent flash flooding. Thousands of families have been affected, with homes, schools, roads and vital infrastructure damaged or destroyed.

As we lift up those who are grieving, displaced and facing uncertainty, let's pray for comfort, protection and strength for communities, local churches and aid workers serving on the ground.

The Christian life was never meant to be lived alone.

That's why Growth Groups are such an important part of life at Albany Baptist Church.

Pastor Jordan shares:

"We want to be a church where people are known, loved, prayed for, encouraged, challenged and changed by the Word of Christ. Growth happens when we do life together under the Word of God."

Growth Groups are where friendships are formed, faith is strengthened, and God's Word takes root in our everyday lives. Together we study Scripture, pray for one another, and encourage each other to follow Jesus faithfully.

What does it look like to respond when God stirs our hearts for those in need?

After learning about the work of Destiny Rescue at ABC Youth on Friday night, our Year 10-12 girls chose to take action. They lovingly crafted handmade items and sold them after the weekend services to raise funds for Destiny Rescue's mission of rescuing children from exploitation and restoring hope.

We're incredibly proud of these young women for turning what they learned into practical compassion. Thank you to everyone who supported them and helped make this fundraiser a success.

This response of our youth beautifully reflects our prayer for the next generation: that God would lead our youth to love Him, love like Him, and point others to Him. We are so encouraged to see that prayer being lived out in such a practical and meaningful way.
