Philippians 3:20-21 declares: "But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body."

This is the hope that made Daniel choose the lion's den over idol worship. This is the hope that made Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego choose the furnace over bowing to the golden image. This is the hope that made the apostles endure persecution, imprisonment, and martyrdom.

The resurrection of Jesus is the guarantee of this hope. As Aaron's dead staff budded, blossomed, and produced almonds (Numbers 17:8), so the dead in Christ will rise. So those who are alive and remain will be transformed—in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet.

Revelation 3:7-13

The LORD presented the Church of Philadelphia as the model of the Rapture Church.

A church that kept His Word.
A church that did not deny His Name.
A church that remained faithful despite having “little strength.”

In a time when the world is loud, busy, and distracted, this message is sobering. Australia is full of opportunity, yet many feel spiritually dry. We are busy with careers, cost of living pressures, and constant noise, yet still searching for meaning.

What matters to God is not size, popularity, or influence. It is obedience. It is faithfulness. It is guarding His Word.

The promise given to that church was protection and open doors no one could shut.
