Holy Saturday is a day of waiting between the cross and the resurrection.

On this day, the Church keeps silence. Jesus lies in the tomb, and the promise of Easter has not yet been revealed. Holy Saturday speaks to all who know uncertainty, grief and waiting. It reminds us that God is present even when nothing seems to be happening, and invites us to wait with hope, trusting that God is at work beyond what we can see.

Bible reading: Matthew 27:59-60
‘So Joseph took the body and wrapped it in a clean linen cloth and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn in the rock. He then rolled a great stone to the door of the tomb and went away.'

Prayer

God of quiet faithfulness,
as we wait in the stillness of this day,
hold us in your care.
Be close to all who wait in grief, fear or uncertainty.
Teach us to trust your presence
when the way forward is hidden
and hope feels fragile.
Keep us faithful in the waiting,
until the light of resurrection dawns.

Amen.

Holy Saturday feels quiet… but quiet doesn’t mean absent. It’s the space between what was and what God is about to do. The waiting. The unknown. The stillness. And yet… God is working.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalms 46:10

If today feels slow or uncertain, don’t rush it. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is be still… and trust Him. If you need help creating that quiet space,
our Be Still and Know song and daily devotionals are here to walk with you. Link in the bio on our page. 💜

Good Friday

Three days… and everything changed. What looked like loss became victory. What felt like the end became a beginning. And the same God who moved then… is still moving now. 🙏

So if today feels uncertain, if you’re in a space between promise and breakthrough... hold on. Because a lot can happen in just a few days with God. “He is not here; He has risen.” — Luke 24:6 If you want to stay grounded in that hope daily, I’ve shared devotionals and peaceful worship playlists on the link on this page. 💜

Save this as your reminder: God is not finished.

Which moment of this night speaks to you most? 👇
Maundy Thursday isn’t just a moment to remember… it’s an invitation to reflect. A table where love was given. A towel where humility was shown. A garden where surrender was chosen. 🙌

Before the cross… there was service. there was sacrifice. there was love that stayed. “Love one another as I have loved you.” — John 13:34

Tonight, slow down and sit with that love. Let it shape your heart, your posture, your life. If you need a quiet place to reflect, our daily devotionals and peaceful worship playlists are here to help you stay anchored in His presence. Link in bio on our page. ❤️
