We are pleased to announce that the grant from the Rural City of Murray Bridge we received a year ago is still being used to run the Youth Enrichment Program (YEP) classes and programs that educate young people, especially (but not limited to) young people who are not currently full time studying in an education institution.

Academic subjects have been included, encouraging these individuals to pursue tertiary education. Other subjects include entrepreneurship, financial well-being, character development, physical activities and more.

We first decided this project was needed when there were little or no organizations in our area providing educational assistance to young people and children who are not currently studying in an education institution.

The YEP is aimed at empowering children and teens to open businesses in the future and enabling them to further their studies. This is our long-term solution to the eradication of poverty and social issues in Murray Bridge.

We are currently in partnership with the Murray Bridge Library where our Young Entrepreneurs Program is conducted for young people ages 5 to 18.

Latter Rain Ministry is matching the grant provided in terms of labour and resources in order for this program to be a complete success.
