Every year in the first week of September, The Salvation Army announces its change of appointments for Officer personnel.

Today it was announced that Major Quentin will be taking up a new appointment as Corps Officer back at North East Salvo based at Oakden. This move will take effect as of early January 2027.

Major Jordan is not being moved and will remain in his role as the Corps Officer of Golden Grove Salvos. There has not been an officer appointed to replace Major Quentin.

Although this move was unexpected by us, we truly believe that God knew, and has plans for our Corps going forward. We trust God at His word when He tells us in Jerimiah 29:11 ‘For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”’

We truly believe in God’s provision for The Salvation Army at both Golden Grove and North East Salvos and look forward to see what He has in sort for each Corps.
