Global Citizen Series | Amazing Africa 🌍

Thursday 28 May | 7:30–9pm (Dinner from 6pm)

Join us for an inspiring evening as we explore the church, mission, and stories of Africa.

✨ Hear from Ken Kamau, Lead Pastor of Ryde Baptist Church, who has a passion for church planting, mission, and leadership development.

✨ Connect with our mission partner Sharon Packer as she shares stories and updates from ministry in Uganda.

✨ Enjoy a delicious Kenyan dinner together as we gather around the table.

Walking Together
7:30-9pm Thurs 30th April

Join the conversation with Ivan-Tiwu Copley, a Peramangk-Kuarna man and respected Aboriginal elder, as he helps us to have greater understanding about Aboriginal communities through education and storytelling. He is known as a “bridge for all people” and was the 2009 SA Australian of the Year and recipient of the Adelaide Lord Mayors NAIDOC award in 2023. An evening not to be missed!

through the story of Jesus’ suffering and death with readings from
the Gospel of John.

Through Scripture, silence, music, and the gradual
extinguishing of light, we will remember the depth of
Christ’s love and the hope found even in the darkest
moment.
