The Annual Wat Nong Pa Pong Abbots meetings. We are very pleased to announce that this year the Sangha of Wat Nong Pa Pong and all branch Abbots of Ajahn Chah voted to accept Bodhipala Monastery as a full branch Monastery of Wat Nong Pa Pong. We rejoice in this special milestone for Bodhipala Monastery thanks to the support of the greater Ajahn Chah Sangha and the efforts of each and every lay people who have helped to support Bodhipala Monastery over the last 8 years. การประชุุมเจ้าอาวาสวัดหนองป่าพงประจำปี

คณะสงฆ์วัดหนองป่าพงและเจ้าอาวาสสาขาหลวงพ่อชา มีความยินดีเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่จะประกาศว่า ในปีนี้ที่ประชุมได้มีมติรับรองให้วัดโพธิปาละเป็นวัดสาขาเต็มรูปแบบของวัดหนองป่าพงอย่างเป็นทางการ

พวกเราขอร่วมอนุโมทนาในวาระอันสำคัญยิ่งนี้ของวัดโพธิปาละ ซึ่งเกิดขึ้นได้ด้วยการสนับสนุนจากคณะสงฆ์สายหลวงพ่อชาทั่วโลก และด้วยความทุ่มเทของญาติโยมทุกท่านที่ได้ร่วมกันอุปถัมภ์และสนับสนุนวัดโพธิปาละตลอดระยะเวลา 8 ปีที่ผ่านมา

Today Ajahn Nyanadipo travelled to Bahn Dahn Quian to visit Mr Mitt and his team who are currently working on the clay mural tile carvings for Bodhipala Monastery. The first mural has been completed and currently drying in preparation for firing in the kiln and work has begun on the second mural. We thank Mr Mitt and his staff for his skilful work, and we look forward to seeing these finally installed around the Subhaddachetiya.

The final concrete pour completing the main Chedi construction

Blessings and Anumodana to all, we have finally reached the milestone of completing the concrete portion of the Chedi structure, at over 7m of intricate concrete forms and shapes we have finally reached the bottom of the spire. We extend our Sadhu to all who have made this project possible. In the next phase of the project will be installing the spire and decorating the chedi by rendering and painting as well as a paved area around the chedi for people to walk.

Visakha Puja One-Day Retreat at Bodhipala Monastery

On the occasion of Visakha Puja the Sangha and lay community of Bodhipala Monastery had a day of practice to mark the occasion of the Buddha’s birth, enlightenment and Parinibbana. We extend our Anumodana to all who braved the cool fresh weather to join us and honour the Buddha through practicing meditation, chanting and listening to the Dhamma.

วันปฏิบัติธรรมเนื่องในวันวิสาขบูชา ณ วัดโพธิปาละ

เนื่องในโอกาสวันวิสาขบูชา คณะสงฆ์และพุทธบริษัทของวัดโพธิปาละได้ร่วมกันจัดวันปฏิบัติธรรมตลอดหนึ่งวัน เพื่อรำลึกถึงวันประสูติ วันตรัสรู้ และวันปรินิพพานของพระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้า

ทางวัดขอร่วมอนุโมทนากับทุกท่านที่ได้ฝ่าความหนาวเย็นและอากาศอันสดชื่นมาร่วมงาน เพื่อแสดงความเคารพบูชาพระพุทธองค์ด้วยการเจริญสมาธิภาวนา สวดมนต์ และรับฟังพระธรรมเทศนา ขออำนาจแห่งบุญกุศลนี้จงเป็นปัจจัยแห่งความสุข ความเจริญ และความก้าวหน้าในธรรมแก่ทุกท่านโดยทั่วกัน. 🙏🏻

You are welcome to join us to mark the occasion of Visakha Puja; the day the Buddha was born, was Enlightened and passed into Parinibbana. Bodhipala Monastery will be holding a one-day meditation retreat beginning at 8:30am until 4pm. No Registration is necessary, please wear loose fitting white clothing or alternatively white top and black lower garment.

Anumodana to everyone who helped to pour concrete at Bodhipala Monastery today. Patently waiting for the concrete to arrive and working together passing buckets of concrete to eachother we successfully completed the upper portion of the bell shape of the Subhaddachetiya, showing how harmony and effort can make impossible tasks possible, Sadhu.
