THE CHURCH ON THE CORNER
The History Festival is coming up in May. Scots Church, at 175 years old, is the second oldest remaining church in Adelaide, and has an active Uniting Church congregation. Scots Church (237 North Terrace Adelaide) will be running guided tours every Tuesday and Thursday in May at 11am. (5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26 & 28th May) – no booking required, donation appreciated. Discover the building and its people’s wonderful history, including the Burning Bush pulpit and the The Celebration of Creation stained-glass window. The tours will last approximately 1 hour. The Uniting Church Historical Society will have a photo exhibition in McGregor Hall (next to the church) on all Wednesdays 10am -2pm.
