Jesus is stirring something new in this season of waiting, more than anything God longs for intimacy with us, so that we may know his love and express our love for him in the way we live for him, the way we long for more time with him, the way we pray for more of him in our communities, the way we seek him above anything else. God can change any situation, any circumstance, no matter how impossible it appears For he is the creator above all. the enemy is already crushed and is in anxious waiting for his time to be up. God is waiting for his people to make time for him, waiting for his people to trust in him with everything, for it is in that place that we are willing to serve freely and take bold steps in what he is calling us to do, no matter how crazy it may be, no matter how unrealistic it may appear, do not forget who is with you and for you. When you look at the sky to see how large it is or even the stars in the sky, and yet the entire universe fits in the palm of his hand, how much greater are his plans for you, how much larger is he than the challenges we face, how much more can we trust him in the trial, it almost seems impossible for our father so incredible and powerful to care for our needs and what we face, and yet he does, more than we could ever know, he loves us, what beauty, what wonder. Who knew we could have a relationship with the god of the universe and all it takes is time with him, who knew we could find purpose and the fullness of life in Christ and all it requires is facing him, turning from what was to what is, to all we really need. The more we seek him, the more we find him, the less we fear, the less we envy, the less we compare, the less we desire of the empty promises the world has to offer, nothing will ever sustain us except the one who made us. For we were never made to do life on our own, but side by side with the father of the heavens and the earth.
