As a part of Newcastle Music Festical, Miriam returns home for this very special program featuring Bach’s poignant and heartwarming Wedding Cantata together with his Coffee Cantata, a miniature comic opera about a disgruntled father and his coffee-obsessed daughter. Miriam will perform alongside her own father, Australian baritone Christopher Allan with Dan Walker (tenor) as the narrator.

Miriam is an award-winning Australian soprano who has achieved international fame, performing as a soloist with leading ensembles including Les Arts Florissants, English Baroque Soloists and Concerto Copenhagen, and singing at the funeral of HRH Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh.
