There are Christians who are just addicted to Bible knowledge and people who just want to feel an experience. The latter produces self-righteousness and pride, the former produces faith with no foundation and "flakiness". We need both!⁣

"THE END OF ALL THINGS IS NEAR" (1 Peter 4,7) ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Jesus came, died, and was exalted in his resurrection. Peter prophesied the end of all things and later Jesus appeared before John and promised him his return would be soon. So the end of time began with Jesus' first coming. Through his death on the cross he took all the sins of the world upon himself so that every person would have the chance for eternal life, to be by God's side. And in that moment he defeated the devil, took all power from him and made known to him that the end of his reign has begun.⁣
⁣⁣
The end time is not a new phenomenon, we have been in this phase for about 1900 years, which will end with Jesus' second coming. Jesus speaks very clearly in the Book of Revelation of the New Heavens and the New Earth, which he will create after he has dealt with the powers of darkness once and for all.⁣
⁣⁣
No matter how long the end times may be, whether you have just one morning or 1000 to go, this new sermon will help you live these days to the full and experience God's blessings in your life, your family and in your church.⁣⁣

Karl Michael Pilsl, Pastor of the Oase Church, starts the second part of our mini-series "Building and Strengthening Your Wall of Defense"; with this basic idea that led to this message:

“A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls.” (Pr. 25:28 - ESV)

Reflect on this for just a moment:

How strong is your wall? Do you feel safe behind it? And above all: do you know your weaknesses? Do you know the "holes and construction sites" in your wall?

"Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power." (Ephesians 6:10 - NLT)

We have good news. If you decide to drop your selfishness and follow God's way, you are certain of his mighty power of his strength!

We have to strengthen and restore our protective wall in order to withstand the numerous attacks with which the adversary presses us every day! All areas of your life need a strong barricade: the family and all other relationships, your finances, but above all your heart!

“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith.”

The past few months have been very rough for many people. In the lives of many, the worldly “drama” that is taking place before our very eyes has brought about a personal or financial crisis, many relationships have failed, or some have slipped into a tremendous crisis of faith.

The 4-part series BETTER: NOT NORMAL, BUT BETTER, reaches its grand finale with the new message, and contains truths that can get your heart back on the right path - if you really want it!

The whole series takes Joseph, son of Jacob, as a model (Genesis 37-50). He wasn't just going through a crisis, no, he was enslaved, betrayed and sold, he was in prison for about 12 years and despite everything that happened to him, the story says that GOD WAS WITH HIM. In the finale we see what blessings God has prepared for Joseph.
