🌞✨ Last weekend at Kalapa: another Meditation Retreat for beginners took place during summer solstice. 🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️

Manfred Klell, the original founder of Kalapa Center, led the retreat and introduced Rinpoche’s book “An Authentic Guide to Meditation” to a group of German-speaking participants. 📖🙏

The participants greatly appreciated the guidance of the teacher and Kalapa team, the inspiring group atmosphere, the experience of silence, and the beauty of Kalapa and its surroundings. 🌿🏞️💚

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who joined and to all who helped make this event possible by offering their skills, time, and talents to Rinpoche’s center! 🙏✨

✨ We rejoice! ✨ - the 2026 Open Door Day at Kalapa was a great success 🎉!

In his speech to the participants, the Mayor officially recognized Dzokden Kalapa’s work for global peace 🕊️ and acknowledged the Kalachakra Stupa as a very valuable landmark of the municipality. 🏛️
We joyfully presented the fully renovated Stupa to the public 🪷 and introduced the profound meaning of the Kalachakra teachings.

Visitors were impressed by the ongoing projects, the unique Kalachakra Temple 🏯, and the diverse program offered at Kalapa.
They enjoyed a guided tour exploring the history of the center 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ and participated in various workshops, including a Qigong session ☯️, tsa-tsa painting 🎨, and a guided music meditation 🎶🧘. We concluded the day with Rinpoche’s Rimé prayer 🙏 honoring the various religious traditions. 🌍✨

💛 Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event such a wonderful success, especially all the sponsors who supported the renovation of the Stupa! 🙏

Kalapa 🌈 is ready for the upcoming Open Door Day🍀, taking place this SUNDAY:

Thanks to the great support of some members of the Sangha, with participants from Italy, Romania, UK, Slovenia and Austria 🌎we were able to finalize the first phase of the ongoing construction 👨‍🌾 after many months of hard work, implement innumerable projects around and in the house, as well as tidy up the garden 🪴and do a deep cleaning of the whole Center💧.

We look forward to welcoming many people from the region 🍄🥁and to introduce recent developments of the Retreat Center to the Locals, the Mayor and the Tourism Board 💫🛎️.

Thank you to everyone who made time and effort to join this last Kalapa Care in 2026💗🙏!

✅wall renovation & painting for the last of the 4 bedrooms was
finished
✅Kalapa Dharma store was digitalized
✅an earth delivery to fill up the raised bed was organised and
implemented
✅an additional organic waste container was installed
