Outreach Teams
We recently welcomed who came to serve as an outreach team at our conference center. Their help in preparing our space for upcoming conferences and for the busy summer season has made a huge difference. Not just in what got done, but in the spirit they brought with them.
Outreach teams like this are important for us. We rely on the energy, skills, and servant hearts of volunteers to keep this ministry running and to create a welcoming place for everyone who comes here.
Every hour that people serve helps us fulfill our mission to refresh the saints, restore the broken, and raise the next generation of servant leaders.
To everyone who has come, and to all who will serve in the future: Thank you.
We can’t do this without you, and we are truly grateful for your partnership.

Summer of Service (SOS) is a three-month volunteer program for young adults, focusing on serving others, spiritual growth, and Jesus-centered community at Schloss Heroldeck.
This years discipleship subject is FORMED - What it means to become more like Jesus.
Where we will focus on living as and becoming the people God intends us to be.

Dear Pastor, Church Leader, and Ministry Friends,

With summer fast approaching, we are excited and getting ourselves ready for the Refresh Europe Conference, August 11-17, at Schloss Heroldeck, in beautiful, Millstatt, Austria.

Our goal each year is to provide you, your family, and your ministry team with a variety of opportunities to relax, refill and be refreshed.

We’ll do this through teaching, worshiping and praying together, as well as through rich times of fellowship— around the table, in the coffee shop, out on the lawn, up on the hiking trail, down on the dock, or on a lovely walk along the lake into the beautiful village of Millstatter-See.

We have officially kicked off our Summer of Service curriculum.

The theme for this summer is “The Life of a Disciple of Jesus.”

During orientation week, we focused on what it means to be a disciple of Jesus, abiding in Christ, practicing spiritual disciplines, and the importance of the Gospel and Scripture.

Moving forward, we will focus on a new topic each week and discuss and reflect on it in small groups.

Our Abide Internship has come to an end.
•
We are grateful for each one of our interns who came and served and grew alongside one another; in love, discipleship, and serving. As well as every speaker and individual who came to support us along the way.
•
The heart of the Internship was to grow in Abiding in Christ.
•
Throughout the last three months we did several workshops:
- Biblical Meditation with Rob Dingman;
- Foundations of Discipleship with Jonathan;
- Spiritual Disciplines for Growth in Christlikeness with Jonathan;
- Identity and Calling with Matthew Finch;
- The Holy Spirit and Spiritual Gifts with Matthew Finch;
- Biblical Stewardship with Robin Turner;
- Spiritual Warfare with Mike Howard;
- Biblical Leadership with Jonathan;
- Biblical Leadership and Discipleship with Tom Gillett;
- and, Missions with Timothy Gamwell.

It’s been a wonderful three months, abundant in joy and growing. We’ll miss these guys.
