Sunday School, Bible Studies:

1Timothy 4:7-8

The bible likens our walk with God to sports especially athletics a number of times. Think of the rigorous training athletes put in to win 🥇 medals (may or not come with monetary prizes) that can perish; how much more do we need to put in on our walk with God for the prize that lasts forever!

Winning a physical prize comes with discipline, training, abstaining from certain foods, drinks and other lifestyle adjustments, God expects same from us as sons(Christians)!

Topic: When God’s Grace Is Sufficient

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 12:7–9

Even though Paul walked closely with God, he still faced challenges. Sometimes, those who are most faithful carry the heaviest burdens. Yet through it all, God’s grace remains sufficient.

The presence of pain, sickness, or life’s challenges does not always mean the absence of God. His presence is often most evident in the midst of our struggles.

When we pray, let us also learn to allow God to respond in His own way and in His perfect timing.

As Isaiah 43:1–2 reminds us, even when we pass through deep waters or walk through fire, God promises to be with us.

God’s grace sustains us, holds us, and carries us, even when the challenges have not yet been removed.

And while we wait, don’t stop using what God has placed in your hands. Apply your gift to your God-given dream whenever an opportunity presents itself.

As we see in Acts 19:11–12, God can do extraordinary things through ordinary people who remain available and faithful.

No matter what you’re facing today, remember: His grace is sufficient. 🙏

Topic: Growing Up Responsibly

Proverbs 22:6

God expects us to grow responsibly.

Just as we have developmental milestones in the physical, can we set the same for our spiritual development?

"Start off a child in the way he should go..." (Proverbs 22:6, TPT)

How well do we start off our children, and ourselves?

The people of the other religion start their children off at birth with "Allah Akbar," the first words a baby hears from his father after birth, and then we wonder why it isn't so easy to pull them over.

Physical developmental milestones:
Sitting; crawling, standing, walking; and so on.

Spiritual developmental milestones might as well be:
Being filled with the Holy Spirit, praying in the Holy Ghost, seeing visions, healing the sick, discernment, winning souls, raising the dead, and more.

So the question remains: Are you growing up responsibly?
