It's not even the best advice, not even from your best friend
In these times of noise and confusion inside and out, and an abundance of complicated, biased, obscure and intentionally manipulated narratives,
there is only one voice you need to hear.
That is the voice of your God,
the still, small voice,
the word of life that restores your soul,
brings you encouragement, and illuminates your heart.
In a time of intimacy with God
in the secret place,
in your room,
in solitude in God's presence,
reading and beginning to understand His word,
spending time in prayer,
opening your heart to God,
expressing your fears and concerns,
and listening to the Holy Spirit.
There you will discover God's heart for you and His purposes for your life. There, and only there, will you find peace and direction. There is no substitute.
