BRIDGES OF LOVE – BUILDING SHARED VALUES
A Celebration of Unity, Harmony and Humanity

Guru Nanak Darbar Gurudwara Dubai, in collaboration with the Centre for Studies on Human Fraternity, UAE, celebrated the launch of Bridges of Love – Building Shared Values on 7 October 2026.

Authored by Dr. Surender Singh Kandhari, Chairman of Guru Nanak Darbar Gurudwara Dubai, and Dr. Mohamad Habash, Chairman of the Centre for Studies on Human Fraternity, UAE, the book highlights the shared values of Islam and Sikhism, promoting love, compassion, equality and harmony.

The event was graced by H.E. Maqsoud Kruse, Chairman of the International Steering Board of Hedayah, UAE, as Chief Guest, along with

H.E. Mr. Hussein Mirza Al-Sayegh, Philanthropist & Former Diplomat of UAE

H.E. Dr. Raya Almehrizi, Chairman, UAE Family Council

Ms. Samira Mohd Shaloh, Managing Director, Dubai Quality Group

and Mr. Siddharth Balachandran, Hon. Chairman Indian Business & Professional Council Dubai

Dr. Bubbles Kandhari, Vice Chairperson of Guru Nanak Darbar Gurudwara Dubai, gracefully served as Master of Ceremonies.

The evening celebrated the UAE's spirit of tolerance and peaceful coexistence and concluded with Langar, symbolising unity and selfless service.

11 Years of Service. 11,000 Acts of Care. ❤️

Guru Nanak Darbar Gurudwara Dubai and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints proudly celebrated the 11th year of their interfaith collaboration, continuing a journey rooted in compassion, unity and selfless service.

To mark this special milestone, 11,000 lunch bags with dry snacks were distributed, reflecting the shared commitment of both communities to serving humanity beyond boundaries of faith, nationality and background.

Eleven years together, united by one purpose — service, friendship and harmony.
