Faith within Jesus.
Matthew 14:22 -33
If we put our faith in Jesus and listen to his word, everything becomes possible. "Do not fear the storm, or you will sink."
The story of Peter walking on the water when he was called by Jesus illustrates the strength of faith and trust in Jesus' word and power.
When Peter stepped out of the boat, that was complete faith shown by him regardless of the storm and trouble they were encountering, but then Peter got distracted by the storm and sank, instead of continuing his focus of Jesus he started to look at the problems and trouble they were going through.
As Children of God, let us always focus on the word of God, what Jesus is saying to us, not the problem we have in our daily lives. We should be like Peter by having faith to walk on the water, not like Peter who focused on the storm and got sunk.
May our Lord Jesus give us the strength of faith in our daily lives.
