Dubai Church of Christ — More Than a Church, We Are a Family That Loves and Cares for People

The Dubai Church of Christ is constantly growing—not only in number, but also spiritually. Every week, we are blessed to welcome new brothers and sisters from different countries.

Many brothers and sisters around the world are sending us the contact information of their beloved family members, relatives, and friends who are living and working in different parts of the UAE. When we receive their information, our team reaches out to them, checks on their well-being, asks how they are doing, how their job situation is, and whether they are facing any financial or personal difficulties.

We are here to find those who are hurting, help those who are wounded, encourage those who are emotionally alone, and support those who are struggling. We want everyone to experience a better life, a loving spiritual family, and the fellowship of the Dubai Church of Christ.

Our leaders and deacons are very dedicated to reaching out, visiting, encouraging, and helping people wherever they are.

WHAT CAN I DO FOR MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS AROUND THE WORLD?
As Christians, we should not only ask, “What can others do for me?”
We should ask, “What can I do for my brothers and sisters?”
Jesus taught us:
“For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you welcomed Me; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me.”
— Matthew 25:35–36
What can I do?
1. I can PRAY for them.
2. I can ENCOURAGE them.
3. I can WELCOME them.
4. I can HELP them in their time of need.
5. I can VISIT them.
6. I can SHARE what God has given me.
7. I can CONNECT them with the Church.
Because Christianity is not only about receiving God's love—it is about sharing God's love with others.
When I help my brother, I serve Christ.
When I care for my sister, I care for Christ.
When I feed the hungry, I serve Christ.
When I comfort the suffering, I serve Christ.
We are not just a church. We are a family. And a family takes care of its own.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Around the World,

Thank you so much for responding to the post I shared recently. I asked you to let us know about your family members, friends, and relatives who are living in Dubai and other Emirates and who may be looking for a Church of Christ where they can worship and fellowship.

Many dedicated and responsible Christians responded by sharing the contact information and details of their loved ones. We reached out to them, welcomed them into our fellowship, and learned about their situations and needs. Some of them were facing financial difficulties, so we were able to provide some financial assistance and distribute rice to help them. They were very happy and encouraged by the love and care they received.

This is what we are called to do as Christians. It is our responsibility to make sure that our brothers and sisters are safe, cared for, encouraged, and doing well.

So, please continue to share our church information and contact details with your family members, friends, and relatives who are living in Dubai and the other Emirates. Encourage them to contact us and become part of our fellowship.

We warmly welcome you to our regular Wednesday Weekly Zoom Online Bible Class as we continue our in-depth study of the Book of Acts. We are grateful that brothers and sisters from many countries are joining us each week to study God's Word together.

So far, we have completed the background and historical introduction to the Book of Acts. We have studied:

The author, Luke, and his background.
The purpose of the Gospel of Luke.
The connection between the Gospel of Luke and the Book of Acts.
Who Theophilus was and why Luke addressed both books to him.
The historical and spiritual foundation of the Book of Acts.

These studies have been exciting and encouraging, and we thank God for the wonderful participation from Christians around the world.

This week's topic is: "The Baptism of the Holy Spirit."

This is one of the most important subjects in the New Testament and one that has been widely misunderstood and interpreted in many different ways. During this series, we will carefully examine what the Bible teaches by studying the Scriptures in their proper context.

We will explore questions such as:

Why was it given?
What purpose did it serve in God's plan?
How does it relate to the establishment of the New Testament church and the revelation of God's complete will?

This is a rich and important subject, and we expect this study to continue for several weeks as we carefully examine the biblical evidence.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

We thank God and we sincerely thank each one of you for your wonderful response to our recent post about helping us locate members of the Church of Christ, as well as friends, relatives, and neighbors who are living in the UAE and looking for a faithful congregation to worship with.

Because of your support and referrals, we were able to visit and meet about 11 to 12 brothers from different countries from Africa. We are delighted to share that many of them joined us in worship at the Dubai Church of Christ last Sunday. It was a great encouragement and a joyful blessing to welcome them into our church family.

We believe there are still many faithful Christians living in Dubai, Ajman, Sharjah, and other parts of the UAE who may not yet have found a church family. If you know anyone in this situation, we kindly ask you to share our contact information with them and encourage them to reach out to us. We would be honored to visit them, encourage them, and help them become part of our congregation.

The Dubai Church of Christ is more than a place of worship—it is a family. By God's grace, we are also able to provide practical assistance to those in need, including food supplies such as rice and vegetables, and limited financial support for those who have lost their jobs or are struggling because they are not receiving adequate salaries.

Recognize the Value of Parents

Everything in this creation has value. The earth has value, gold has value, and livestock have value. Almost everything in this world can be assigned a price. Yet there are some people whose worth can never be measured or valued with money. Foremost among them are our parents.

No price can ever be placed on a parent's love, sacrifice, affection, care, and countless prayers. Their value is beyond measure.

Sadly, many people do not recognize the true worth of their parents while they are still alive. Only after they are gone do they realize what they have lost. Then comes the lifelong regret:

"I wish I had done more for my mother."
"I wish I had spent more time with my father."

Those words echo in the heart for the rest of one's life.

By the grace of God, I do not carry that regret. God gave me the privilege of loving, honoring, and caring for my parents while they were with me. For that, I am deeply grateful, and I can stand before you today with a clear conscience.

The Word of God says:

"Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you."
— Exodus 20:12

This is not merely a command—it is a promise. God blesses those who honor their parents.

The Bible also teaches us:

"Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen."
— 1 John 4:20

The same principle applies to our parents. If we cannot love and honor the parents whom God has placed before our eyes, how can we truly claim to love the God whom we cannot see?

What is real success in life?

Success is not measured by the size of our house, the amount of wealth we possess, the cars we drive, or even the education we provide for our children. While these things have their place, there are far more important questions:

What have I done for my parents?
What have I done for the glory of God?

These are the questions that truly matter.

Even after we leave this world, our lives should continue to speak. Others should be inspired by our love, our faithfulness, and the way we honored God and our parents. That is the legacy of a truly successful life.

Today, most parents are not asking for money, property, gold, or expensive gifts. Deep within their hearts, they long for something much simpler.

They quietly say:

"If only my son or daughter would spend just ten minutes a day talking with me in love, that would be enough."

Many parents spend sleepless nights waiting for that phone call, that visit, or those few precious minutes of conversation.

Therefore, love your parents while they are still with you. Honor them. Respect them. Spend time with them. Speak words of love and gratitude today.

A loving conversation while your parents are alive is far more valuable than the most beautiful wreath placed upon their grave after they are gone.

May we never wait until it is too late.

God richly blesses those who honor their parents. He fills their lives with peace, joy, favor, and His abiding grace.

May we honor our parents, glorify God through our lives, and leave behind a legacy that inspires future generations.

Greetings brothers and sisters in Christ,

We had a wonderful Zoom Online Bible Class tonight studying the book of Acts. We are truly blessed that so many people joined us from different countries around the world.

We are thankful to God for this wonderful opportunity to build new relationships, encourage one another, and pray for each other. These connections help us grow together in faith and strengthen the body of Christ.

My prayer is that, one day, when I have the opportunity to visit Africa and other places, I can serve, encourage, and help strengthen congregations for the glory of God.

To God be all the glory. We are grateful for this beautiful opportunity to study His Word together.
