We celebrated the Third Sunday After Pentecost and Freedom Sunday as we reflected on Matthew 9:35–10:23 through the message “The Ripple Effect: Becoming the Start of God's Kingdom Movement,” delivered by Rev. Goel Bagundol.

🔹 Active Compassion – Jesus did not simply see the crowds; He was moved with compassion and responded to their needs. As followers of Christ, we are called to do the same.

🔹 Gratitude Fuel – The blessings we have received from God are meant to inspire us to serve others. Gratitude is not just something we feel—it is something we live out.

🔹 Expect Friction – Following Christ is not always easy. There will be challenges, opposition, and discomfort, but God remains faithful through it all.

What Now?

1️⃣ Identify Your "Crowd" – Who around you looks harassed, helpless, lonely, or overlooked?

2️⃣ Take One Step – A coffee invitation, a helping hand, a message, or a sincere “How are you?” can make a difference.

3️⃣ Pray the Harvest Prayer – “Lord, send me into Your field. Give me eyes to see and a heart to serve.”

Be the Ripple.
You have been set free.
You have been blessed.
Now, let us go beyond these walls and become part of God's Kingdom movement—one act of compassion at a time.

We celebrated the Second Sunday After Pentecost and UEM Sunday as we reflected on Matthew 9:9–13, 18–26 through the message “The Beautiful Mess,” delivered by Rev. Goel Bagundol.

🔹 **Mercy Trumps Ritual** – Jesus values compassion over appearances. He did not come for the self-righteous, but for those who know they need grace.

🔹 **Desperation as a Doorway** – The bleeding woman and the grieving father came to Jesus in their deepest need. Sometimes our brokenness becomes the very place where faith begins.

🔹 **Dropping the Filter** – Jesus welcomes the real us, not the polished version we try to present. Healing starts when we stop pretending and come honestly before Him.

**The Challenge:** Stop hiding from Jesus. Bring your doubts, addictions, stress, and fears to Him—He is not shocked by your mess.

Stop hiding from others. The church is a hospital for the sick, not a museum for saints. Let us create safe spaces where brokenness can meet grace.

Invite Him in. He is waiting for you to open the closet door of your heart.

**Will You Let Him In?** Jesus did not come for the perfect. He came for the outcasts, the isolated, the grieving, and the hopeless. He loves us exactly as we are, but He loves us too much to leave us that way.

We celebrated the Day of Pentecost and UCCP Anniversary Sunday as we reflected on 1 Corinthians 12:3b–13 and John 20:19–23 through the message “One Spirit, Many Gifts, One Mission,” delivered by one of our Church Board of Elders, Elder Vergel Francisco.

🔹 Unity is Not Uniformity – The Holy Spirit does not erase our differences but beautifully brings them together in harmony for God’s glory. Just like different voices in a choir, each member has a unique role in the Body of Christ.

🔹 Peace is the Foundation of Mission – Before Jesus sent His disciples, He first spoke peace into their fear. The Spirit empowers us not to live in fear, but to become people of courage, healing, and reconciliation.

🔹 We are Empowered for “The Other” – Our gifts are not for personal recognition, but for the common good. Your encouragement, service, wisdom, and compassion may be someone else’s miracle.

The Good News:
The same Spirit that moved at creation, raised Christ from the dead, and sustained the UCCP for 78 years is still moving today. We are not alone, and we are enough because God’s Spirit is with us.

The Challenge:
Unlock the doors of fear and prejudice.
Affirm the gifts of others.
Be agents of forgiveness and grace in a divided world.

🔹 Love Proved in Staying – God’s love is not temporary or conditional. Just like a loving mother who remains beside her child, Jesus promises never to leave us alone.

🔹 Ending Spiritual Orphanhood – Through the Holy Spirit, we are no longer abandoned or forgotten. In Christ, we are welcomed, embraced, and reminded that we belong to God’s family.

🔹 Living by a Different Sight – The world sees with fear and uncertainty, but the Spirit teaches us to see with faith, hope, and love.

The Good News:
God does not “drop us off” and walk away. Through the Holy Spirit, the risen Christ is closer to us than our own shadow—guiding, comforting, protecting, and loving us unconditionally.

The Challenge:
Honor the Spirit.
Mother the world with compassion.
Obey God intimately and faithfully.

Because He lives, we are never alone. 🤍

🔹 A Mind Set on the Spirit Requires Intentional Focus – Following Christ doesn’t happen by accident. It takes daily surrender, choosing to fix our thoughts on what leads to life and peace.

🔹 A Mind Guided by the Spirit Shapes Wise Decisions – When we allow the Spirit to lead, our choices begin to reflect God’s will rather than our impulses.

🔹 A Mind Empowered by the Spirit Leads to Christlike Living – The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead empowers us to live transformed, obedient, and fruitful lives.

Easter Season Reflection:
This season is not just about tradition—it is about transformation.
Let go of distractions.
Turn away from sin.
Return fully to God.

We celebrated the Third Sunday of Easter as we reflected on Luke 24:13–35 through the message “The Fire on the Road: Finding Christ in the Ordinary.”

🔹 The Unrecognized Companion – Jesus walks with us even when we don’t see Him. Our expectations can blind us to His quiet presence in everyday moments.

🔹 The Burning Heart – God’s Word is alive. When we return to it, the Holy Spirit reignites our hearts and renews our faith.

🔹 Revelation in the Breaking – Jesus is revealed in fellowship, in the table, and in shared moments. Faith is meant to be lived together.

The Good News:
Jesus pursues us—even when we wander. No distance is too far for Him to walk just to bring us back.

Conclusion:
When our eyes are opened, we don’t stay the same. We return, we testify, and we share:
“We have seen the Lord in the ordinary.”
