📖 Sermon Title: From Blindness to Belief
📍 Scripture Text: John 9:1–41
🗣 Preacher: Rev. Goel Bagundol

We celebrated the Fourth Sunday of Lent as we reflected on John 9:1–41 through the message “From Blindness to Belief.”

🔹 Suffering as a Space for Grace – Hardship is not always a punishment; sometimes it is the place where God’s work becomes visible. What feels like a dead end may actually be God’s construction site.

🔹 Obedience Before Understanding – The blind man walked to Siloam with mud on his eyes. Faith means obeying even when the path doesn’t yet make sense. We often find the light only after we begin the walk.

🔹 Choosing Truth Over Comfort – When the man spoke the truth about Jesus, he was rejected. Spiritual sight can cost us approval, but truth is always worth more than comfort.

The Good News:
When the world rejected the man, Jesus found him. The same Savior meets us in our darkness and leads us into the light.

The Question for Us:
Will we admit our blindness so that we may truly see?

Leader: Sis. Jessica Espiritu
Key Chapter: 1 Samuel 30 - 31

In the midst of loss and battle, David strengthened himself in the Lord and God restored what was taken. Meanwhile, Saul’s tragic end reminds us of the consequences of turning away from God.

🔥 “But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God.” —1 Samuel 30:6

When life feels overwhelming, our true strength is found in the Lord alone.

📖 Sermon Title: The Well of Radical Belonging
📍 Scripture Text: John 4:5-42
🗣 Preacher: Rev. Goel Bagundol

We celebrated the Third Sunday of Lent and International Women’s Sunday as we reflected on John 4:5–42, with the message “The Well of Radical Belonging.”

🔹 Holy Curiosity – Jesus began with a question, not a lecture. Real connection starts when we listen to people’s stories instead of trying to prove we are right.

🔹 Thirst is Universal – Every person carries a deep thirst for worth, love, and belonging. Instead of labeling people as “sinners,” we are invited to see them as seekers searching for living water.

🔹 Worship in Spirit and Truth – True worship is not about the perfect place or performance. It is coming to God honestly, without masks, allowing His Spirit to meet us in our real condition.

The Good News:
Jesus intentionally went to the well for someone society tried to ignore. No past is too messy, and no life is too broken for the Living Water to reach.

This Week’s Challenge:
Listen before speaking.
Sit at someone else’s “well.”
Remember—grace is not a gated community.

Leader: Sis. Monick Roll
Key Chapter: 1 Samuel 25 - 26

David was about to act in anger, but Abigail’s wisdom stopped him—reminding us that God uses people to redirect us. Later, David again spared Saul, choosing mercy over revenge and trusting God’s justice.

🔥 “The Lord will certainly make a lasting dynasty for my lord… because you fight the Lord’s battles.” —1 Samuel 25:28

When we surrender our anger and trust God, He fights for us and keeps us on the right path.

📍 Scripture Text: Matthew 4:4
🗣 Preacher: Rev. Mahalaeel and Ptr. Leonardo Padua

We celebrated the First Sunday of Lent and Membership Sunday ✨

Sermon from Matthew 4:4
“When Faith Is Tested, Hearts Are Committed”

🔹 Trust God’s Provision – God sustains us beyond what is seen; His Word is enough.
🔹 Trust Beyond “If–Then” Faith – True faith doesn’t test God; it trusts Him without conditions.
🔹 Worship God Above All – God alone deserves our highest devotion, above every need or desire.

Tested faith produces committed hearts.

Stand firm. Trust fully. Worship wholeheartedly.

📖 Sermon Title: Ashes that Lead to Action
📍 Scripture Text: Isaiah 58:1–121
🗣 Preacher: Rev. Mahalaleel Padua

Last night, we reflected on Isaiah 58:1–12 through the powerful message, “Ashes that Lead to Action” delivered by our Guest Pastor, Rev. Mahalaleel Padua.

We were reminded that the ashes are not only a sign of repentance —
they are a mark of mission.

God calls us to a faith that moves beyond ritual and into action.

Go and be:
💜 Bearers of hope
💜 Doers of mercy
💜 Builders of community
💜 Repairers of broken places

May our lives preach louder than our rituals.

📖 Sermon Title: From the Mountaintop to the Marketplace
📍 Scripture Text: Matthew 17:1-9
🗣 Preacher: Rev. Goel Bagundol

We celebrated Transfiguration Sunday and United Church Men Sunday – Fellowship of the Biggest Coin Sunday.

Sermon from Matthew 17:1–9
“From the Mountaintop to the Marketplace”

🔹 Glory in the In-Between
God shows up on the journey — on the bus, in the breakroom, in the long shifts. Your “in-between” season is not wasted; it’s where God builds inner strength.

🔹 Don’t Build Booths
The mountain is powerful, but we cannot live there. Faith is not escape — it’s preparation. Don’t turn a movement into a monument.

🔹 The Touch of the Transfigured
The same Jesus who shines in glory also comes near, touches, and lifts us up. The King of Glory walks beside you in the valley.

Take the mountain light into your marketplace this week.
Work with excellence. Love with humility. Walk with confidence — the King is with you.

Leader: Bro. Eric Bañez
Key Chapter: 1 Samuel 21 - 24

While fleeing from Saul, David faced fear, hiding, and hardship—yet he chose to trust God and spare Saul’s life when he had the chance to take revenge. His story teaches us the power of waiting on God’s timing and choosing mercy over retaliation.

🔥 “May the Lord judge between you and me… but my hand will not touch you.” —1 Samuel 24:12
