A ministry may be defined as the act of carrying forth Christ’s
mission.

Filipino Youth Ministry (FYM)

F – Filipino
Southeast Asian ethnicity who are identified and native to the
Philippines and share a common Filipino culture and ancestry. Y – Youth
Youth is anyone 13-39 years old and single in civic status, but taken in heart status...by God, of course. This is the act of ministering or rendering unconditional
service to others. It is where one meets the needs of

others with
utmost care and love. As we dissect each word of FYM, we may now summarize the concept of the Filipino Youth Ministry as the umbrella ministry comprising of the Filipino youth organizations (Altar Servers, Youth For Christ, Singles For Christ, Youth for El Shaddai, Filcom Youth, Light of Jesus Youth) based out of the formed communities under the banner of FilCOm. Our Vision:
FYM envisions that age does not defy the passion to serve. This
ministry will serve as a spiritual springboard for the youth's
immersion to the Filipino community in the St. Mary's Catholic Church - Dubai parish

Our Mission:
♥ A ministry especially directed to, for, with and by the young
♥ To be accustomed with the different youth leaders and fellow youth members of the Filipino community in the parish
♥ To be inspired to have deeper encounter with God by means of actively serving the Filipino community and parish activities.
♥ Youth serving Youth
