Holy Trinity Church Dubai

Holy Trinity Church Dubai For over fifty years Holy Trinity has borne witness to the presence and vitality of Christianity in the Emirate of Dubai.

Holy Trinity Church Dubai is a unique communion of Anglicans and those originating from other mainline Protestant churches from around the world, constituted within the Anglican Diocese of Cyprus and the Gulf, in the Province of Jerusalem and the Middle East. The Church building is both beautiful and memorable and offers stimulation, comfort and shelter to the many people who visit it and worship

within it. As the community for whom it is home we are called to be ambassadors for Christ in our deeds and in our lives. All our churches are built on land generously given by the rulers of the UAE as a result of dialogue with early Anglican Christians here. The cordial relationships between Christians and the rulers continue to this day. Holy Trinity also supports over a hundred Guest Congregations, made up of expatriate Christians from all around the world who worship God in many tongues, styles of devotion and expressions of faith in the premises and facilities we provide. The Pastors and Elders of these congregations work in partnership and unity with us, and the collective body of Christians who worship at Holy Trinity amounts to some 30,000 or more people.

Vocation & Ministry Sunday at Holy Trinity Church, Dubai
We thank God for a joyful and meaningful Vacation & Ministry Sunday, with three blessed services.
Members from various ministries participated actively, showcasing the beautiful diversity of gifts within our church. The sermon was shared by Gideon Jayaseelan, a candidate for lay ministry training, who encouraged us to listen to God’s call in our lives.
Our worship was enriched by both the choir and the contemporary band, leading us in heartfelt praise.
A special call was given to all to prayerfully consider their vocation whether in lay ministry or ordained ministry as we continue to serve Christ together.
“Here I am, Lord. Send me.” (Isaiah 6:8)

🌿 Earth Day 2026 at Holy Trinity Church, Dubai 🌿
Today, on the occasion of Earth Day, we gathered at Holy Trinity Church to celebrate God’s creation and renew our commitment to care for the earth.
As a symbol of hope, resilience, and stewardship, we planted a Ghaf tree (Prosopis cineraria)—the national tree of the UAE. Deeply rooted in the desert, the Ghaf stands as a powerful reminder of life in harsh conditions, reflecting endurance, sustainability, and God’s provision even in the wilderness.
Chosen as the symbol of the UAE’s Year of Tolerance (2019), the Ghaf tree also represents unity, peace, and coexistence.
As we planted this tree, we offered prayers:
🌱 for the healing of the earth
🌱 for wisdom to be faithful stewards of creation
🌱 for unity among all people and nations
May this tree grow as a living witness to our faith, reminding us that caring for creation is an act of worship and a calling entrusted to us by God.
“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.” (Psalm 24:1)
Let us continue to walk gently on this earth, nurturing and protecting all that God has made.
🌍 Happy Earth Day!

On this Second Sunday of Easter, we are reminded of how Jesus showed His scars to Thomas. In a time like ours marked by war, uncertainty, and fear, here in Dubai and across the world we hold on to this powerful truth: we worship a God who bears scars.
These scars are not signs of defeat, but of love, suffering, and victory. They assure us that Christ is not distant from our pain, but present within it. He knows our wounds, our fears, and our struggles because He has carried them Himself.
Today, as we walk through uncertainty, we are not alone. The risen Christ, the wounded healer, stands with us. His scars speak peace into our fear and hope into our darkness.
Please continue to pray for us, as we also keep you in our prayers.

Palm Sunday Service 29 March 2026
Almighty and gracious God, we rejoice that your Son Jesus Christ came to us in humility, riding on a donkey, and was welcomed with shouts of “Hosanna.” Grant that we who proclaim him as King may follow him in obedience and faith, not only in moments of joy but also in the way of the cross; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
