Oasis of Grace, United Methodist Church

Oasis of Grace, United Methodist Church And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Grace is God’s unearned favor that saves and sustains us, and like an oasis in the desert, the church is called to be a refreshing source of Christ’s living water, offering grace, forgiveness, and hope to all who thirst spiritually. Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV) "19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.

When God promised the elderly and tired Sarah that she would have a baby, she didn't laugh because she was happy. She hid behind a tent door and laughed because she didn't believe it, thinking it was too late for miracles. But God wasn't angry with her doubt. Instead, He asked, "Is anything too hard for the Lord?" and turned her sad sigh into a boy named Isaac, which means "he laughs."

Today, Oasis of Grace United Methodist Church (OGUMC) lives out this same Miracle of Laughter. Even when times are tough or uncertain, the church chooses bold, infectious joy over giving up. By creating a warm, honest place where people can be themselves and find hope, and by bringing young and old together, OGUMC proves that when a situation looks hopeless, God is actually just getting ready to surprise everyone.

We welcome our faith family , Sis Justine invited by Sis Cezy Jane, Sis Mary Grace invited by Sis Nelle.

Happy Birthday to Sis Ivy, Bro JP, Sis Tin and Sis Mary Grace, may God bless the days of your life.

Last week, we remembered the call. This week at Oasis of Grace UMC Jebel Ali Mission,we dive into the family beginnings (Genesis 18:1-15). We’ve missed a few chapters—and a few wrong turns where humanity tried to push God's will—but today, we stand before a miracle.

When Abraham looked up, he saw three visitors. He didn’t just offer them a meal; his radical hospitality ushered in the presence of God and the promise of Isaac.

As a young mission church, this is our blueprint. Hospitality isn't just a prelude to a miracle; it’s how we reveal the character of Christ to a weary world. How we welcome the stranger defines who we are.

Join us this week as we look up, lean in, and pay attention to the miracle.

Our Jebel Ali Mission continues to grow, and we couldn’t be more grateful!

Please join us in giving a warm welcome home to our new families: Sis Angela Mae & Sis Mary Ann (invited by Kuya Raul and Ate Angeline), Sis Jen & Bro Paul, and Bro Mon of the Jebel Ali boys (invited by Bro DJ).

We also want to extend our deepest thanks to our amazing friends-family for coming out and supporting God's mission here: the Villaluz Family, Bro Kyrie, Sis Beloved, Mischa, Phoenix, and Mommy Tess.

Thank you for being a part of what God is building in Jebel Ali. You are an answer to prayer!

May God continue to bless our hands and feet.

Now the Lord said to Abram, 'Go from your country... and I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you... so that you will be a blessing.'" — Genesis 12:1-2

As we step into this brand-new conference year, Oasis Of Grace UMC, God is calling us out of the comfortable and into the impactful! Our theme today is simple yet profound: To Be a Blessing.

But being a blessing isn't just a nice sentiment—it’s our mission. To embody a missional church means we don't just wait for people to come through our doors; we become the hands and feet of Jesus out in our neighborhoods, workplaces, and communities. We are blessed so that we can overflow into the lives of others.
Let’s step out in faith like Abraham, ready to see where God leads and who He calls us to serve. The journey starts today!

We welcome our new church family, Sis Cathy invited by Ate Elsa and Kuya Reuel, Sis Jovilyn invited by Sis Joyz and Sis Ivy, Sis Sherilyn invited by Sis Maricar and Sis Bhelle. To our family from Sharjah, Bro King, Sis Charmaine, Mommy Edna, Sis Remy, our babies KC and Cianna. We're so blessed to see you all today.

Happy Birthday to Bro Jeff, Bro Alo and Pastor Aaron. May God bless all the days of your life.Happy Wedding Anniversary to Bro Eric and Sis Sheng Olandag may God bless your journey to forever.

Let us be the hands and feet of our Lord Jesus to the world🙏❤️

We are God’s sent people.

What an incredible inaugural service for Oasis of Grace UMC - Jebel Ali Mission! Today, we received a powerful charge: to stop being just a church with a mission, and to become a truly missional church in nature.

We don't have to be perfect to change the world; we just have to be open to the unconditional love God is pouring out on us right now. When we rest in that blessing, we can't help but share it. Jebel Ali, we are ready to serve you in the name of Jesus!

Welcome home, Kuya Raul Angel Viniegra and Ate Angeline Emperador Viniegra, Bro Roel,
Bro Kerwin. May God bless you always po🙏❤️
Oasis of Grace UMC - Jebel Ali is deeply grateful to our OGUMC Church Council Officers and members. Your dedication made today possible. This is the ultimate answer to every prayer whispered in our Plowing the Field ministry. God bless you, OG Farmers—thank you for cultivating a space where God's grace can grow. 🚜❤️🙏❤️

The Trinity isn't a complicated puzzle to solve—it is a beautiful picture of how God loves and works with us. From the very beginning, God imagined our world, the Spirit breathed life into it, and Jesus showed us how to love one another. This divine partnership is still alive today, inviting us out of isolation and into a community where we can truly grow. Today, let’s celebrate this mystery not as a heavy doctrine, but as an open invitation to live, love, and bring new life to the world alongside the Creator, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We joyfully greet Happy Birthday to Bro Randy and Sis Jea may God bless all the days of your life.

We rejoice in. celebrating your union Bro Oscar and Sis Jea, Bro Eric and Sis Sheng.
May the good Lord continue to bless and strengthen your marriage and grant all the prayers of your heart🙏❤️

OGUMC, remember that God loves you and use the power of the Holy Spirit within you as you GO and step into His mission field.

Pentecost represents the fulfillment of Moses’s ancient prayer that God’s Spirit would be given to everyone, rather than restricted to a chosen few. By breaking all boundaries, God has completely unleashed the Holy Spirit upon all human hearts.

This divine liberation frees believers from their limitations, empowering them to go out into a hurting world and share God's truth through transformative love.

Go out those doors and be a true church of Jesus Christ to a dry and thirsty world. When you see someone who is lonely, welcome them. When you see someone who is hurting, show them fierce empathy. When you see injustice, speak the truth.

The Spirit is unbound, and because the Spirit lives in you, you are unbound too. Go out, tell the truth, love deeply, and watch how God uses this church to change the world!

Welcome to our new faith family,Sis Janine and Mommy Vilma from Bulacan conference.

Happy Birthday to Bro Samuel, Sis Mela and Sis Gabby. May God bless all the days of your life🙏🥰❤️
