Ka-Beloved,
“Our present troubles are small and won’t last very long.”
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 4:17 NLT
“For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!”
Just as Paul endured hardships, persecutions and his sufferings- he never allowed his circumstance to define him but he sees them as small, light affliction and but for a moment. He viewed them as temporary and would not last forever because his eyes were fixed on God’s promises rather than his present difficulties.
The same truth applies to us today. We may face difficulties, disappointments, delays, uncertainties, or seasons of suffering, but we must remember that these troubles are temporary. They do not have the final say over our lives—God does. When we choose to view our circumstances through the lens of grace, we are reminded that God's hand is at work even when we cannot see it. Our perspective shapes how we live, think and respond to every situation.
How do we change our perspective?
1. Let us have a personal, intimate relationship with God through spending time in His Word
2. Surround ourselves with Godly alliances to pray, encourage us and strengthen us in faith.
3. Position ourselves where we can continually praise and worship the Lord
Let us pray:
Abba Father, thank You that my life is firmly grounded in Christ, my solid foundation. Help me to see every situation through the lens of Your grace, knowing that Your grace is always more than enough for me. Holy Spirit, empower me to speak words of faith, hope, and life in every circumstance. Transform me daily from glory to glory into the likeness of Christ!
In Jesus Name! Amen 🙏🏻
