An Honor for Bhatia Community
It is always an honor for our Bhatia Community Member Deepak Bhatia - Uncle’s Shop to meet Shri. Piyush Goyal (Minister of Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs & Food, Public Distribution & Textiles - Govt of India) and be a part of the Business 20 (B20) Summit in New Delhi Last week. The UAE delegation was led by H.E. Dr. Thani Al Zeyoudi (UAE Minister of State & Foreign Trade - Ministry of Economy)
We are glad that he presented his book titled PEARLS OF DUBAI INDO ARAB RELATIONS 1900 - 1958 during my recent visit to New Delhi. Pearls of Dubai cherishes the memories of the early Indian & our Thattai Bhatia Settlers in Dubai, their contributions towards development of Dubai and their strong relations with the local community during that era.
The book also has valued Forewords from the Royal Al Maktoum Family of Dubai, U.A.E. Diplomats & Dignitaries and was officially launched in Dubai by H.H. Shaikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum (President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman & CEO of the Emirates Airlines Group, and Chairman of Dubai World & Expo City).
