Presbyterian English Choirs Association (PECA) Annual Rally 2025

The 2025 Annual Rally of the Presbyterian English Choirs Association (PECA) has successfully concluded. This significant event commenced in the Gulf Missionary Area on Friday, March 28, 2025, with members of PECA in Bahrain actively participating in a Bible quiz and singing competition. The rally culminated in the UAE Center on Sunday, March 30, 2025, with PC Abu Dhabi as the host. The theme for this year’s celebration was "Be Alert and Prayerful," drawn from Luke 21:36.

The congregational choirs of PC Dubai and PC Abu Dhabi initiated the day's activities at 8:30 AM with a Bible quiz, brain trust, and music theory sessions. This was followed by a singing competition, where participants presented set and composed musical pieces.

The event was officiated and presided over by Rev. Numfor Lawrence-BillyGrahams, who also dedicated and commissioned the pioneer batch of executive members of PECA Gulf. Elder Juliana Ekio led the team as the newly commissioned President.

Notably, this year’s rally was the first-ever PECA annual rally held in the Gulf. Among the six congregations and prayer cells, three groups—Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Bahrain—were in attendance. Fujairah, Al Ain, and Qatar have expressed their hope to participate in next year’s event.
