✨ FEAST SHARJAH FAMILY UPDATE! ✨

What a powerful month we’ve had this September! 🙌
🇵🇭 We celebrated the Filipino Community of St. Michael’s.
🙏 We journeyed through our talk series 9 to 5, learning how God is with us in our work, in our rest, and even in our struggles.
💛 And most of all, we saw lives touched, hearts healed, and faith strengthened.

But the journey doesn’t end here… 🚀

This October, we’re opening a brand-new talk series that will bring fresh hope and direction for your life. 🌟

💼 WHEN WORK IS SUFFERING 💔

“Do you feel overworked, underpaid, and unseen—wondering if all your effort even matters?”

For some, work is joy. Pero sa totoo lang, for many of us, work feels like suffering.
👉 We drag ourselves to the office.
👉 We feel used but not valued.
👉 We give our best but get overlooked.

The Bible describes it perfectly: “All their days their work is grief and pain; even at night their minds do not rest.” (Ecclesiastes 2:22-23)

Friend, if you’ve ever felt stuck, frustrated, or hopeless in your work—this message is for you.

Even when work feels meaningless, God is still at work in you.

God will turn bad into good.

This Saturday at Feast Sharjah, discover how to find God even when your work feels like wilderness. Learn how to:
✅ Trust God as your true Provider.
✅ Believe that He turns bad into good.
✅ Align your goals with His will.

🌿 SACRED RHYTHM OF WORK AND REST 🌿

“Work will make you successful… but without rest, it can also make you empty.”

In our first two talks of the 9 to 5 Series, we learned that secular work can be sacred—yes, your ordinary job can be holy when done with God. 🙌

Pero kapatid, here’s another truth: work alone is not enough.
To walk with God, you need two feet—work and rest. 🦶🦶

Jesus Himself often withdrew to a quiet place—not to escape, but to connect with the Father. If the Son of God needed solitude, how much more do we?

👉 Message: Friend, God is inviting you to meet Him in your quiet place.

Join us at Feast Sharjah as we dive into Talk 3: Sacred Rhythm of Work and Rest.
Discover how to:

✅ Clarify your call
✅ Calendar your core
✅ Create your cushion of Sabbath

God owns everything. We don’t own any of what we have. Everything is Grace! At best, we are just managers of what God has entrusted to us.

We’re God’s Property Managers.
The Bible has a term for it: God’s stewards.
Here’s the definition. “A Steward is someone entrusted with another person’s wealth and charged with the responsibility of managing it in the owner’s best interest – not theirs.”

As the Psalmist says: “You gave them charge of everything you made, putting all things under their authority” (Psalm 8:6 NLT)

God calls us to be stewards of all of Creation. You’re not just an employee. You’re now God’s Manager.

The key message of Talk 3: You’ve been promoted.

WE cannot talk about MORE THAN ENOUGH without talking about the source of all that MORE: God’s generosity.

Here’s our key passage for today’s Talk: Jesus said, “Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them… Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are.” (Matthew 6:26, 28-29 NLT)

Talk 2’s life-changing message: Trust in God’s generosity

Send us a message:
If you would like us to pray for your prayer intentions and thanksgiving prayers;
If you want to journey with us and join a light group.

Talk 2: Work | This is the second installment of our brand-new Feast Talk series, RESTED.

Talk 1, titled Rest, established that there’s a great pandemic going on, called Overworking but Underliving.
The antidote is the Sabbath– which bestows two essential blessings: (1) a rhythm of rest; and (2) a rhythm of relationship.

To appreciate the Sabbath, we must study about work.

The key message of Talk 2 is God wants to work with you.

Come and be part of this special gathering as we unite in prayer and experience the peace and joy of God’s presence.

We look forward to praying with you!
