ARE YOU FINDING YOUR OWN WAY, OR TRUSTING THE ONE WHO LEADS YOU?

We all long for safety, belonging, and genuine care. In John 10:1–21, Jesus reveals Himself as both the Gate and the Good Shepherd.

He is the Gate through whom we enter life with God and the Shepherd who knows us by name, guides us, and cares for us.

Jesus never leaves us to walk alone. He leads us, provides for us, and holds us securely in His hands.

❤️ Take a moment to reflect: Are you trying to find your own way, or are you trusting Jesus to lead you? Are you listening to His voice and following where He guides?

Jesus is the way to life and the Shepherd who faithfully cares for us.

ARE YOU WALKING IN DARKNESS, OR FOLLOWING THE LIGHT?

We all need direction, but following Jesus means trusting the One who leads us.

In Week 2 of our preaching series, Portraits of Jesus, we reflect on John 8:12:

“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Just as God led His people from slavery toward the Promised Land, Jesus leads us from spiritual darkness into His light.

From bo***ge to freedom.
From darkness to light.
From death to life.

We may not see the entire journey, but we can trust the One who leads us.

Don’t just admire the Light. Follow Jesus.

WHAT IS YOUR SOUL HUNGRY FOR?

We often search for fulfillment in achievements, relationships, possessions, and the things this world offers. Yet even when we gain what we desire, we may still find ourselves longing for something more.

In Week 1 of our series Portraits of Jesus, we are reminded of Jesus’ powerful declaration in John 6:35–40: “I am the bread of life.”

Jesus is not merely someone who gives us what we need. He invites us into a relationship with Him—the One who satisfies our deepest spiritual hunger and gives us the hope of eternal life.

The world offers temporary satisfaction, but Jesus offers lasting hope.

Come to Him. Believe in Him. Find your life in Him.

God already has a purpose for the generation coming after us. Our role is to faithfully invest in them, help them know Christ, equip them with truth and wisdom, and guide them so they can recognize and follow God’s purpose for their lives.
