*KONKANI PRAYER MEETING – Praise & Worship.*

*Gospel Reference: Matthew 9:36 – 10:18*
*Theme: “ಫುಂಕ್ಯಾಕ್ ತುಮ್ಕಾಂ ಮೆಳ್ಳಾಂ, ಫುಂಕ್ಯಾಕ್ ತುಮಿ ದಿಯಾ” “Freely you have received; freely give.”*

As we gather in God’s holy presence for this time of praise and worship, we reflect on the compassionate heart of Jesus. In today’s Gospel, Jesus looks upon the crowds with deep love and mercy because they were “troubled and abandoned, like sheep without a shepherd.” His heart was moved with compassion for people who were tired, hurting, lost, and searching for hope.

Jesus then calls His disciples and sends them out with a mission, not to seek power or recognition, but to bring healing, peace, comfort, and God’s love to others. He reminds them:
“Freely you have received; freely give.”

These words are also meant for us today.
Every blessing we have received from God; our life, faith, family, talents, strength, forgiveness, and love; is a gift freely given to us by Him. Jesus invites us not to keep these gifts only for ourselves, but to share them with others through kindness, compassion, forgiveness, prayer, encouragement, and service.

Many people around us carry silent struggles, worries, pain, loneliness, and burdens hidden deep within their hearts. Sometimes even we feel tired, weak, or lost ourselves. Yet Jesus continues to look upon us with the same love and compassion. He reminds us that we are never alone, and He calls us to become instruments of His peace and love in this world.

As we enter into this time of praise and worship, let us open our hearts completely to the Lord. May His presence heal our wounds, strengthen our faith, and fill our hearts with peace and gratitude.

May the Lord fill our hearts with His grace and help us to freely share the love we have received from Him with everyone around us.

*KONKANI MASS & EUCHARISTIC ADORATION*
*The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ*

Let us come together as one community for the Konkani Holy Mass & Eucharistic Adoration as we prayerfully celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ.

This feast, traditionally known as Corpus Christi, was established by the Church in the 13th century to deepen the faith of the people in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist. Through this beautiful celebration, the Church reminds us that Jesus truly remains with us in the Blessed Sacrament , as our spiritual nourishment, strength, and everlasting companion.

This beautiful feast reminds us that Jesus is truly present in the Holy Eucharist — not distant from our lives, but walking with us in every joy, struggle, fear, and hope. In the Eucharist, He becomes our strength in weakness, our comfort in sorrow, and our peace in the midst of life’s burdens.

As one family in Christ, let us gather with humble and grateful hearts to experience His presence, His love, and His healing grace.

After the Holy Mass, we will remain in His sacred presence for Eucharistic Adoration, spending quiet moments with the Lord, placing before Him our families, prayers, worries, and thanksgiving.

Come with faith…
Remain in His presence with trust and reverence…
Return home renewed by His peace, love, and blessings.

As we gather in God’s loving presence for this time of praise and worship, today’s Gospel invites us to reflect on the great love of God revealed through the Holy Trinity — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

In the Gospel we hear the beautiful words: “ *For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son* .” These words remind us that God’s love is deep, faithful, and without limits.

In the midst of our daily responsibilities, struggles, and worries, we sometimes forget how greatly we are blessed. Yet God’s presence surrounds us every day.

The Father blesses us with the gift of life and the love of our families.
The Son, Jesus Christ, teaches us how to love, forgive, and trust in God even in difficult moments.
The Holy Spirit walks with us daily, guiding us, strengthening us, and filling our hearts with peace.

Our theme reminds us that faith is not only about receiving God’s blessings, but also about sharing those blessings with others, through love in our homes, forgiveness in our relationships, and kindness in our community.

As we enter into this time of praise and worship, let us open our hearts to the presence of the Holy Trinity and allow God’s grace to renew our lives.

*May the Father bless us with His love* ,
*May the Son guide us with His truth,*
*And may the Holy Spirit fill our hearts with peace,*
*so that our lives may become a blessing to others*

*KONKANI PRAYER MEETING – Praise & Worship*
*Gospel Reference: John 20:19–23*
*Theme: Pentecost Sunday*

As we gather in God’s holy presence for this time of praise and worship, we reflect on a powerful and consoling moment in the Gospel.

The disciples were gathered behind closed doors, filled with fear and uncertainty. The suffering and death of Jesus had shaken their faith, and their hearts were troubled. Yet, in the midst of their fear, Jesus came and stood among them. His first words were not words of blame, but words of comfort and peace: “ *Peace be with you* .”
Then Jesus breathed upon them and said: “ *Receive the Holy Spirit* .”
Through this gift, everything began to change. Fear was transformed into courage. Doubt was replaced with faith. Weak and frightened disciples became bold witnesses of Christ.

Pentecost reminds us that the Holy Spirit is not only a gift given in the past, but a living presence with us even today.
Many times, we too live behind closed doors, doors closed by fear, worries about the future, family struggles, disappointments, or burdens we carry silently within us. Sometimes our faith feels weak. Sometimes we feel lost or alone. Sometimes we do not know which direction our lives should take.
But today’s Gospel gives us a message of deep hope: Jesus still comes to us.

He enters the closed doors of our hearts and gently speaks the same words: “ *Peace be with you* .”
The Holy Spirit is God’s loving gift to His people, the Spirit who comforts us when we are troubled, strengthens us when we are weak, and guides us when we feel lost.

As we enter into this time of praise and worship, let us open the doors of our hearts to the Holy Spirit. May His presence bring peace where there is anxiety, courage where there is fear, and hope where there is discouragement.
Let us pray together: “ *ಪವಿತ್ರ್ ಆತ್ಮ್ಯಾ ದೆವೊನ್ ಯೇ, ಮ್ಹಜೆ ಥಂಯ್ ತುಂ ರಾವೊಂಕ್ ಯೇ, ಉಜ್ವಾಡ್ ತುಜೊ ಫಾಂಕೊಂವ್ನ್ ಯೇ,ಮ್ಹಜೆ ಥಂಯ್ ತುಂ ಜಿಯೆಂವ್ಕ್ ಯೇ* ”

May the Holy Spirit fill our hearts with His peace, renew our faith, and guide us to live as true witnesses of Christ in our families, our community, and our daily lives.

*Konkani Annual Retreat 2026*
*Day 4*

With hearts filled with gratitude and a deep longing for healing and unity, let us come together as one family in Christ for Day 4 of our Annual Retreat.

Today, 20th May, Wednesday, marks the final day of this grace-filled journey, a moment to gather all that we have received and allow God’s love to complete His work within us.

Our guest preacher, *Rev. Fr. Sunil Kumar Dsouza,* will guide us through today’s powerful and inspiring reflections on: “ *Family* ” “ *Forgiveness* ” “ *Healing* ” and “ *Adoration* ”

Today, we reflect on the beautiful gift of family, a sacred space where love is nurtured, faith is strengthened, and hearts are called to grow in patience, understanding, and grace.
We are invited to embrace forgiveness, not simply as an act, but as a healing grace that frees our hearts from past hurts and restores peace where there was pain.
Through God’s loving presence, we receive healing, where hidden wounds are touched, where burdens are gently lifted… And where hearts are renewed by His mercy and love.
In adoration, we come before the Lord with silence, trust, and surrender…We place our lives, our families, and our struggles into His hands…And we rest in the quiet assurance of His loving presence.

May today’s reflections help us carry the grace of this retreat into our homes, our families, and our daily lives, becoming instruments of God’s love, peace, and healing to one another.
Come and be part of this blessed conclusion.
Experience His healing…
Experience His peace…
Experience His transforming grace.

Let us continue to journey together with one heart and one spirit, grateful for all that God has done in our lives throughout these four blessed days.

“ *Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins* .” *1 Peter 4:8* .
With thankful hearts, we also express our sincere gratitude to Rev. Fr. Sunil Kumar Dsouza for his inspiring, prayerful, and grace-filled preaching that has guided us throughout this retreat journey.

*Konkani Annual Retreat 2026*
*Day 3*

Today, 19th May, Tuesday, invites us into a deeper encounter with God as we continue this grace-filled journey through the powerful themes: “ *Genuine Repentance* ” and “ *Prayer* ”

Today, we are specially called to genuine repentance, a true turning of the heart back to God with humility, honesty, and trust. Repentance is not only about feeling sorry, but about allowing God to transform our hearts and lead us towards a renewed life in Him.

Let us continue this journey together with one heart and one spirit, ready to receive His blessings and grow closer to Him through repentance and prayer.

“ *Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.* ”- *Acts 3:19.*

*Konkani Annual Retreat 2026.*
*Day 2*

With hearts seeking God’s mercy and longing for His presence in the Eucharist, let us come together as one family in Christ for Day 2 of our Annual Retreat.

Today, 18th May, Monday, continues our grace-filled journey as we enter more deeply into God’s presence, allowing His light to gently reveal our hearts and draw us closer to Him.

Our guest preacher, *Rev. Fr. Sunil Kumar Dsouza* , will guide us through today’s powerful and inspiring reflections on: “ *Eucharist* ” and “ *Sin* ”

As we reflect on the reality of sin, we are invited to recognize the choices, weaknesses, and distractions that slowly distance us from God and weaken our relationship with Him. Yet, even in the midst of our brokenness, Christ lovingly calls us to Himself through the Eucharist, where He gives Himself completely, not because we are worthy, but because we are deeply loved.

In the Eucharist, we find strength…
In His presence, we find mercy…
And in His love, we find the grace to begin again.

May today’s reflections help us open our hearts more fully to God’s healing presence, renew our faith, and deepen our desire to walk closely with Him.

Come and be part of this blessed journey.
Experience His mercy…
Experience His presence…
Experience His transforming grace.

Let us continue this journey together with one heart and one spirit, ready to receive His blessings and grow deeper in His love.
“Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me”-Psalm 51:10

*Konkani Annual Retreat 2026*
*Day 1*

With prayerful hearts, we look forward to welcoming each one of you as one family in Christ to Day 1 of our Annual Retreat.

Today (17th May – Sunday) marks the beginning of a grace-filled journey. A gentle invitation to pause. To step away from the noise and busyness of daily life…And to spend time in the loving presence of God.

As we begin this spiritual journey, let us take a moment to look within ourselves, to recognize our need for God, to open our hearts to His unconditional love and to become aware of the little ways we slowly drift away from Him.

Our guest preacher, *Rev. Fr. Sunil Kumar Dsouza* , will guide us through today’s reflections on the meaningful themes: “ *Why Retreat?* ”, “ *God’s Love* ”, and “ *Temptation.* ”

Through these reflections, may we begin this retreat with open hearts, allowing God to touch our lives, strengthen our faith, and lead us closer to Him.

Let us come just as we are… with all that we carry within us… Trusting that God, in His gentle love and mercy, will meet us, embrace us, and renew us from within.

Come and be part of this blessed beginning…
Experience His peace…
Experience His love…
Experience His healing presence.

Let us journey together with one heart and one spirit, ready to receive His blessings and begin this beautiful journey of renewal.

“ *Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest* .” – *Matthew 11:28* .
