The story sound hilarious—how a God had no choice but to become a man and die. It seems bogis until i realize that 'God is Agape Love,' and Love came down, setting aside heaven, and bore the penalty we were meant to receive. All thsi just to show how precious we are to God, and now, nothing less than our best will do.

In the wake of the Sydney Church stabbing, my thoughts turn to Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel, the central figure impacted by this tragic event. He stands out to me as someone of utmost respect and admiration. In a world where truth often gets obscured by noise, Mar Mari remained steadfast. Hypocrisy never 'mar'red his character, nor did falsehood ever dim his resolve. He stood resolute in his beliefs, not merely preaching from his own philosophies, but boldly advocating the timeless truths of scripture with conviction, regardless of how they were received.

In these challenging times, let us unite in prayer, asking for the light to shine brighter and for darkness to be illuminated. Our prayers extend to Mar Mari, his loved ones, and the entire church community, as well as to the accused and all those connected to the situation. 🙏🏻

In these challenging times, let us unite in prayer, asking for the light to shine brighter and for darkness to be illuminated. Our prayers extend to Mar Mari, his loved ones, and the entire church community, as well as to the accused and all those connected to the situation. 🙏🏻

Yet, amidst the darkness, we are compelled to reflect on two critical truths from this incident:

🔺Truth Confronts: The incident is a stark reminder of the challenges inherent in standing firm for truth. Mar Mari's unwavering commitment to truth, irrespective of denominational norms, is an inspiration. However, in today's society, truth often faces hostility because not many can bear the confrontation it builds within. So if you are a truth advocate, know that you will be hated, you may not be popular, and while assessing their impact, be ready to be killed. For truth shall prevail, but not until lawlessness prevails first. And while the spirit restrains the unleashing of the lawless one, may it be known that He will be taken out of the way and lawlessness will be unleashed in full power. (2 Thessalonians 2:3–10)

🔺Animal Hunts: The incident also exposes a broader societal crisis – the erosion of moral conviction and degradation of man to the levels of inhuman behavior. It is quite disturbing for a man to choose the setting of the crime, knowing that it is a sacred sanctuary of a church, knowing the incident is broadcasted live globally, knowing that he will be met with inevitable intervention by fellow churchgoers and knowing he would face immediate arrest with law enforcement swiftly intervening. Yet, the accused displayed shocking audacity in going ahead and confronting a public figure. This behavior reflects a distressing trend where individuals not only lack conviction but also abandon reasoning without realizing that they have descended into a state akin to mere animals.

But there is Hope, that will be revealed in glory on ‘That Day’ when all will come into light. ⭐️

The church that can't worship must be entertained. And leaders who can't lead a church to worship must provide the entertainment.- A.W. Tozer

Entertainment satisfies the realm of mortal physicality, while the Word sanctifies and refreshes our immortal spirits. Both are essential in their own confined definitions, but let's not mix the sacred with the self.

It's time we clearly label Salt and Sugar correctly so we do not blur our vision and lead others astray from the truth. Remember, the Word does not say: 'You are the Sugar of this Earth.' We must maintain the distinction between churches and clubs. Hello Churches, switch on your lights, so we can see clearly and not be darkened. In worship, let us behold each other's faces that represent the image of God. May the glory of God itself be light and take centre stage, that we may be found in reverence face down on the ground and not fall back wiggling.

Let us not blur Truth with treachery, ensuring a clear distinction between the Pure and the Profane. For let it be known that Love never fails because justice will prevail, and on that glorious day, there will be a clear distinction between those who serve God and those who do not (Malachi 3). Will your hands be pure and strong?

Matthew 5:13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
