🌟 Evening Message for Tafara Corps
"As we end this day, may we reflect on the grace that carried us through and the strength that continues to bind us as a community of faith. Let every act of kindness, every moment of service, and every prayer lifted be a testimony to the love of Christ in our midst. Rest well, knowing that your light shines bright in Tafara and beyond."

📖 Bible Verse – Romans 12:11–12 (NIV)
> "Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer."

Bible story to inspire the Tafara Corps members of The Salvation Army this morning:

Morning Motivation Story: Gideon’s Call (Judges 6–7)

Gideon was an ordinary man from the weakest clan in Israel and the least in his family. When the Israelites were suffering under the oppression of the Midianites, God chose Gideon to lead the rescue mission. At first, Gideon doubted. He was afraid, uncertain, and felt unworthy.

But God didn’t choose Gideon because of his strength. He chose him because He wanted to show that with God, even the weakest can achieve mighty victories.

Gideon obeyed, and with only 300 men, he defeated an army of over 100,000 Midianites, proving that the battle belongs to the Lord.

Lesson for Tafara Corps Members:

Like Gideon, you may feel small, unqualified, or overwhelmed by life’s challenges or the work ahead. But God sees more in you than you see in yourself. When you step out in faith—even with fear—God steps in with power.

Your service in The Salvation Army is not in vain. Whether you lead, sing, teach, pray, or serve, you are part of a divine rescue mission. Just as Gideon’s obedience brought victory to a nation, your obedience can bring hope, healing, and salvation to your community.

Rise up today knowing:

> “The Lord is with you, mighty warrior!” — Judges 6:12

Stay strong, faithful, and courageous. Tafara Corps—your impact in God’s hands is greater than you think.

Being a Good Person and Speaking with Kindness
(Inspired by the values of The Salvation Army – Tafara Corps)

Being a good person is not about being perfect; it’s about choosing to live with integrity, compassion, and love each day. At Tafara Corps, we believe in living by Christ's example—serving others selflessly, offering a helping hand, and treating everyone with dignity.

Speaking kindly to others is one of the greatest gifts we can give. Whether you're encouraging a child, comforting a friend, or even correcting someone gently, your words have power. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 16:24: "Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones."

As members of The Salvation Army, we are called to speak with grace, listen with humility, and act with mercy. Kind words can heal wounds, open hearts, and bring peace where there was conflict.

Let us strive to be people who build others up, not tear them down. Whether in our corps, our homes, or our communities, let our speech reflect the love of God that lives within us.

Do everything in love." – 1 Corinthians 16:14

Today, we celebrate the strength, compassion, and unwavering love of mothers everywhere. Your nurturing spirit, selfless service, and daily sacrifices are a reflection of God’s grace in our lives.

To every mother, grandmother, and mother figure in our community — thank you for the faith you instill, the hope you nurture, and the love you give so freely. May the Lord bless you richly this day and always.

"She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come." – Proverbs 31:25
