TRIBUTE TO GOGO MUTEMERERWA
It is with deep sorrow and Christian hope that we have received news of the passing on of Gogo Mutemererwa, a legendary mother in the faith and former Apostolic Faith Mission National Chairlady. She was widely respected for her years of faithful service, leadership, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to the work of God.
In her later years, Gogo Mutemererwa fellowshipped at AFM of Zimbabwe Greendale Assembly under the leadership of Rev. Chitsvare in Harare North Province and resided at her home in Greystone Park, Harare.
Her life was a testimony of dedication, humility, prayer, and service to the Body of Christ. Through her leadership and mentorship, she impacted countless women, families, church leaders, and believers across Zimbabwe and beyond.
Her contribution to the growth and strengthening of the Apostolic Faith Mission church where her late husband was President will remain part of the church's rich history.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7
As the AFM family, friends, and relatives mourn this great loss, we take comfort in the promise of the resurrection and eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ.
May the Lord comfort her family, the Harare North Province, AFM, and the entire AFM of Zimbabwe fraternity during this difficult time.
Rest in Glory, Gogo Mutemererwa. A heroine of faith, a mother in Zion, and a faithful servant of God.
"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints." Psalm 116:15
