Joshua 1

*Fear not*
After a long desert journey, which was full of challenges, God spoke to Joshua as they were about to cross river Jordan and take possession of the promised land.
God gave this promise to Joshua, so that he would, *fear not* , the first city that the Israelites had to conquer was Jericho, for it blocked their passage through the mountain pass to the land beyond.

God’s command to Joshua was brief and straightforward, he was to take the land of Canaan. God gave an assurance, because I shall be with you, therefore you shall be irresistible. This promise was most punctually literally fulfilled.

My brother/sister *fear not* , for God has promised, not to leave nor forsake you, you shall be irresistible in every area of your life. All the promises of God shall be fulfilled in your life, *fear not.*

May God bless you, as you courageously move on, in the power of the Holy Spirit.

[1] And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. [2] I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; [3] for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?
1 Corinthians 3

*What is your diet?*
Growth is key in life, in every circle of life, people always want to see some progress and growth.
After Paul preached at Corinth, they received Christ, but later, there was disorder and division within the congregation. The teachings that Paul had taught them was being ignored. They had become carnal and needed their minds to be renewed and their hearts to be transformed into the likeness of Christ.

They were focusing on themselves, instead of looking to Jesus. They were self-centered, self-indulgent, and full of self-importance. They were living and acting as in a worldly way, rather than behaving as spiritual believers. The food (spiritual) they had received from the apostle, had not transformed their lives, their diet remained worldly.

How would they grow with this diet. It is so with you today, *what is your diet? 2* Peter 1:3, tells us that, God has given us everything needed for us to grow in this life, both physical and spiritual life.
Therefore, your diet, determines your growth. Desire, godly food (meditate on the word, prayer and fasting), and be always humble and be of good character.

May the holy spirit guides you, nourishes you and strengthen you, that your diet will always be spiritual.

Believing God qualifies you for a great and precious spiritual reward that Jesus promised.
-it is now, because you left all these other things of the world and gave your life to Jesus, as priority number one, be ready to receive and enjoy the promise.
- it is spiritual and a hundredfold. (You will not walk alone, divine helpers will be send to you)
- you are guaranteed of a position, therefore, do not compete with anyone for the things of God.
-because you have everything for his sake, proclaim and enjoy the promise.

May the good Lord bless you in your going out and coming in. Be read for the reward.

*Praise him always!*
As a child of God, you should be always conscious enough and clearly understand why you should praise him.

- because he changed your identity and made you his specials child (John1:12).
- He cleansed you of all the iniquities and made you a righteous person (holy nation).
- and he has shown you his light, which always goes before you (Psalm 119:105).

Proclaim the praise of him always, he will never withhold his blessings and protection from upon your life.

Enjoy the benefits of the kingdom (your father) as a chosen child of God.
