Sermon Title: "I'M HERE LORD, SEND ME"

In 1816, a young Scottish gardener named Robert Moffat was invited to a Sabbath service. The speaker shared about the great need for missionaries in Southern Africa.

Moffat questioned: "How can I, a gardener, do such a work?" Then he remembered God’s word: "Whom shall I send?" He said "Here I am, send me".

Because of that one "yes", thousands were brought to Christ. God doesn’t call the qualified. He qualifies the called.

1 Samuel 3:1-10
"In those days the word of the Lord was rare; there were not many visions."

It wasn’t that God had stopped talking. The hearts of the people had drifted from Him.

So God bypassed the religious elite and called a child. Why? Because receptive hearts matter more than impressive resumes.

Samuel was called because:
1. He was rooted in Christ Roots determine the fruit
2. He was a good listener “My sheep hear my voice and they follow me”

Are we rooted in Christ, or not? The people in Samuel’s time couldn’t hear God because they weren’t rooted in His Word.

We hear God’s voice through:
1. Reading the Word
2. Meditating on it
3. Obeying it

Romans 8:10 reminds us that sin separated us from God. But Christ listened perfectly and fulfilled His mission. Now He calls us to do the same.

God is calling everyone for His mission. He wants to use you as a vessel to spread the message of His soon coming kingdom.

Today, will you say what Samuel said?
"Speak Lord, for your servant is listening. I'm here Lord, send me."

Sermon Title: "Let This Mind Be In You"

Philippians 2:5 — _“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.”_

Our way of living and behaving begins in the mind.

The greatest blessing God gave us as human beings is the mind.
And the greatest tragedy is to have a mind that is not working, or to have one and fail to use it well.

1. The Mind Is The Command Centre
The mind is where life is managed.
We experience and interpret the world through the mind. It filters what we see and hear based on what it has learned.
It shapes our perception, our decisions, and ultimately our destiny.

2. Guard Your Heart, Guard Your Mind
Proverbs 4:23 — “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”

There are things in our hearts — good and bad — that we accepted growing up. Some we inherited from our upbringing, our environment, and past experiences.
But hearts can be renewed. Minds can be reprogrammed.

Philippians 4:8 _“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable —if anything is excellent or praiseworthy think about such things.”

When we deliberately reflect on God’s promises and truth, we begin to change from the inside out.

3. The Battleground
Above all, let us guard our minds. The devil understands that if he controls your mind, he controls your life. He uses lies, fear, bitterness, and negative thoughts to influence how we live. But Christ calls us to a different mindset — the mindset of Jesus Himself.

Conclusion
God has given us the power to choose what we think about.
Let us reject what is destructive and embrace what is true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of good report.
When the mind of Christ is in us, our behavior, our attitude, and our future will follow.

Let this mind be in you — the mind of Christ.
