Pastoral Experience During Easter at St. Richards Murambinda.
During the Easter celebrations at St. Richards Murambinda, our journey as seminarians took on a profound and transformative dimension through our pastoral exposure. As part of our formation, we were given the unique opportunity to immerse ourselves in the mission of Christ by partnering with different priests and serving at various stations, especially reaching out to the far marginalized communities.
Each of us, five seminarians, was assigned to a different station, where we encountered the diverse realities of our people. From bustling villages to remote, less accessible areas, we experienced firsthand the challenges and hopes of those often overlooked. This pastoral mission was not just about delivering the Gospel but about embodying Christ's love and compassion in action.
One of the most moving moments was preaching the Gospel of Resurrection to communities that had little access to such messages. Seeing their faces light up with hope and joy as they listened to the Good News reinforced our calling and ignited a deeper sense of purpose within us. It was a reminder that the message of Easter is alive and powerful, capable of transforming lives and rekindling faith even in the most marginalized.
Throughout this period, we learned to listen, to serve humbly, and to recognize the presence of Christ in every person we met. The experience deepened our understanding of what it truly means to be ministers of the Gospel — to reach out to those in need and to be witnesses of Christ's resurrection in the world.
This Easter at Murambinda was a profound reminder that the mission of Christ continues today through our actions, our words, and our love for others. It challenged us to carry this spirit forward as future priests, committed to serving wherever the Lord calls us.
