*YOU ARE THAT SALT.*
*You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.* Matthew 5:13
*You are the salt of the earth.* These words from Jesus are not just a statement; they are an invitation to embrace our identity and purpose in a world that often feels bland and lost. You are that Salt today, get a real understanding of this. Salt, in its essence, is a powerful agent. It preserves, enhances flavor, and encourages thirst. As followers of Christ, we are called to embody these qualities in our daily lives.
Imagine a world without salt- a tasteless existence devoid of flavour. Imagine your favourite dish without salt, you wouldn't name-tag it *Favourite,* would you? This is a vivid picture of what life can be without the influence of believers. When we live out our faith authentically, we bring flavor to the lives around us. Our kindness, compassion, and integrity serve as the seasoning that makes life richer for others. Jesus also warns us: *If the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again?* This is a challenge to remain true to our calling. We must constantly check our hearts and actions. Are we blending in with the world, losing our distinctiveness? Or are we intentionally living out our faith, standing firm in our values, and making a difference? This week, think of one way you can be 'salt' in your environment. It could be offering a listening ear to a friend, performing a random act of kindness, or sharing a word of encouragement. Remember, your influence can spark change and bring a little more flavor to someone's life. Let your light shine brightly!
*PRAYER*
*Thank you Oh Lord God for reminding me to flavour my world by and with your Word by living it effectively. Help understand your word with divine revelation so that I will season it when the need arises in Jesus Christ Name I pray. Amen*

2 Kings 2:19-22 - *The men of the city said to Elisha, 'Behold, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord sees, but the water is bad, and the land is unfruitful.' He said, 'Bring me a new bowl, and put salt in it.' So they brought it to him. Then he went to the spring of water and threw salt in it and said, 'Thus says the Lord, I have healed this water; from now on neither death nor miscarriage shall come from it.' So the water has been healed to this day, according to the word that Elisha spoke.*
