When the book of Acts talks about the early Church breaking bread from house to house there’s a mystery behind that act.

The mystery of the body of Christ, which is the bread, is that it grows as it is broken. When He voluntarily breaks His own body it’s a way of spreading Himself abroad.

This is also why the Bible says that we have the mind of Christ. It is because there are things about God that He has revealed to one and not to another, and when we come together as His body we are uniting the mind of Christ which we collectively have.
