Sunday 19 April 2026 saw the United Methodist Church Masvingo District hosting Bishop G. K. Machinga at a colourful ceremony to celebrate the ground breaking for the Rudhanda UMC Complex. This development will see the construction of a 1 500 seater cathedral, a hall, a parsonage, a clinic and an ECD centre. The project is the brain child of Mr. Elisha Tsindikidzo who is putting in over US$860 000 to see the project to fruition. Mr. Tsindikidzo is a member of the United Methodist Church based in Lusaka, Zambia, under the Harare West District and was born and bred in Zaka
